N1 rez is a pretty village move. Nothing is 100%, but you have to reasonably clear some people at some point in the game or else you'll just want to lynch everyone. Of course you reevaluate as you go, but with multikills being a thing, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a village rezzer.

Quoting this just so I remember it later. Cyndia and I said similar things about STL and PBC yet you only called out Cyndia. Granted I was a little more skeptical of them both and Cyndia did use the word “solid” for them but I still find this post a little weird.

PBC didn't exactly have an ability that would be useful for wolves to have, and especially since STL was so transparent about it, I currently firmly believe he's a village. Also if he was a wolf, it would be a stupid move to admit to having performed the rez, since if pbc went down as a wolf, stl would definitely be up for lynch.

Anyways, like STL said, if people keep putting them forward as strong village, one of them's going to end a convert. So this has no bearings on how I'll feel later when convert hunting, but I believe they're not originals.

I completely disagree on this, for multiple reasons.... who is it that most villagers go looking at when looking for converts?

1. Those that people have been confident are village.

2. And those who have been rezzed.

So a wolf would be taking a giant risk to pick those that people have been voiced with more confidence as villager or the resurectee, as those tend to be the first/main focus when it comes to lynching or finding the convert.

Maybe I'm wrong but just my thought process here.

In regards to what you said, I didn't comment on whatever anyone else said because I haven't read any posts from before my first post of the day. I'm on my phone at work so just checking lynch development and noticed that so wanted to say something.

I think giving people strong villager leaning from something decently superficial is a really good way to have them get completely ignored up until convert hunting begins and thus get bit in the butt if they are a wolf. Especially since STL would IMO completely do that as a wolf to get the clearance he now has. I'm not saying he's wolfy, I have him as village lean, I just think both him and PBC are getting a bigger buffer than the situation deserves.
 
After being so elated that they lynched a wolf yesterday, they looked harder at Genny's friends, hoping to find the mischief makers there. "Snowy, you wanted to vouch for Genny's ability." they accused. "You would defend a wolf? You must be in cahoots! We're going to find out today."

And nice pick for the Absinthe btw, regularly scores in the mid-ish level range for recommendations, haven't tried it myself but sounds like a decent entry level Absinthe from what I've heard from other Absintheurs . At least you didn't have me voting to smash a bottle of Jade Combier, or *gasp* L'ancienne!

Also a quick history lesson on the Absinthe ban, the Thujone hallucinations/madness/'Absinthism' idea was entirely manufactured by outside competitive forces, and is largely a complete myth. Absinthe want make you 'trip', but it will make you incredibly, very drunk if you drink too much of it.

Thank you! I've only dabbled in Absinthe, and only with this brand, I did know that the whole thing about tripping and the illegality was business politics, but it fit into the narrative of being neutral so I went with it haha.
 
Snowy's role description matches up fairly well with what Ceke self-reported, could see Ceke as choas.

I'd kind of like to go Britzen tomorrow. Not concrete, but...getting a feeling.

For what seems to be an attempt to manufacture sketch where there is none, and votes that seem crazy-pants. (Trying to be objective and not just pissy that they basically called me stupid yesterday.)

Reasons:
1. Their STL vote: Rabbot made, what seemed imo, to be sort of a joke post (OMG, there’s a hidden message in STL’s post!). Ceke runs with that hook, line, and sinker and votes for STL today with no other reason for the vote.
2. Their vote vs. me: Flipped her vote off of Genny, who looks suspicious as all get out. Hyper-focused on me for some really weak BS that she can’t even really explain. Seems like maybe she was voting for a fellow wolf and needed to fabricate an excuse to switch her vote and try to prevent the genny lynch.
3. The fact that she is most suspicious of me, LIS, and DVM – aka pretty much everybody who has disagreed with her the hardest. Trying to cast doubt on everybody who thinks you are sketch seems awfully wolfy to me.
4. Drunk gif text could go either way as evidence, or mean nothing at all. The cake gif really seems like a reference to ceke, though. Not necessarily sketchy, but does make me want to pay more attention here.


Crayola
1. Still liking my vote from yesterday for the same reasons.
2. Added sketch that she went very quiet yesterday and all day today. Seems suspicious, like maybe she’s a wolf trying to take the heat off of herself. Not much new info though, so will circle back to her later.


Genny
1.For the same reasons as yesterday.
2. Added sketch: her level of continued combativeness and coarseness. (Still interested to hear if boorishness is her normal play style, but since no one has said anything about it, I’m assuming yes.)
3. Her last minute vote swap could go either way for me. The consensus seems to be from more experience players that it’s super sketchy, but I could also see an earlier switch being looked upon as sketchy and resulting in more votes getting racked up anyway. Seems kind of like you’re screwed either way there.

Also worried about people who are participating at a medium-low level and flying under the radar. I feel like we got burned hard by that last game, but need to think more about how to ferret that out.

Subtle---not obvious/sloppy enough to draw attention (wolves know what's sketchy too, would be tempted to steer away from Genny but still concerned about looking suspicious). But still pushing attention to Ceke and Crayola (easy distractions), and injecting doubt re: Genny (while still keeping Genny on her feels list, safe move).

And seeing as the day cycle lynch is most likely headed straight for me, I don't really think at this point anything I say will make that much difference, but just for the record:

* My waffle off Genny and onto Britzen, and then later saying I wasn't sure about Genny.

As I've already explained I had figured Genny was going to be a definite lynch either day 1 or day 2. I noticed a certain change in the cadence of Britzen's posts which pinged my interest. I decided to put a lynch vote there as a way of at least giving people something to discuss, maybe a 'heads up, Genny is the more likely wolf, but she's getting lynched anyway so for another lynch cycle perhaps consider looking here as well'. The only reason I said I wasn't sure about Genny (at that point at least) was because last time I had seen her as a wolf she fought really strongly to claim villager affiliation right up until the last moment, she wasn't seeming to do that this time so it did give me momentary pause. I say momentary because after some time to reflect I had decided on lynching her. And we all know how that went (ie I haven't quite perfected the art of sleep lynching, yet).

I don't consider throwing out some names and getting a lie of the land from others to be 'waffling on and off people', nor do I consider it stretching. I've already said my game style is to go by intuition/feels first off, and often that's not something I can point to specifically - so I put out some names, let people know what my gut instinct is leaning me more towards, and then try to listen to, and analyse what others have to say. So yes it will mean an ever shifting life of 'wolf leans' but I did eventually stay with the person who at least turned out to be neutral and was also leaning towards the other persons most likely to have been wolves in my opinion, and the opinion of others it seems.

If lynching me gets the focus back on finding wolves, then fine, I'll take it on the chin. But I'll just reiterate again you will be lynching a villager, who, if nothing else, is at least participating as much as possible, and trying to do their best (even if my game style is a little, shall we say 'unique'). I would also suggest that if I am lynched then analysing the voting patterns afterwards might prove useful. I am an easy target for a wolf to shift suspicion onto, and away from themselves, simply because my game style does mean I am hard to read sometimes, and people do end up defaulting me to wolf (wrongly, again, this game). I would be suspicious of anyone leading the vote against me for that very reason - shift focus onto an easy lynch target, and people aren't looking at wolves.

You know what would NOT be stupid in terms of building the ultimate in village cred? Rezzing a villager early as village.

If you had a double kill....it kinda nets even for wolves.

I honestly think there are a few people who it would be kinda dumb to ever put as firmly, unassailably village. Most of them are in this game.

You did well, and it did fit nicely with the story narrative. Basically most Absinthe historians now believe that the ban came about due to a concerted effort from Wine companies, because Absinthe was serious competition, especially in the wake of the Wine industry recovering from a major crop devastation in the late 19th century (if memory serves me correct). Basically there was some sort of blight, or disease, that almost completely wiped out the wine industries grape crops one year; wine became scarce and people began to drink Absinthe as an alternative - and Absinthe became popular, so popular in fact that when the wine industry was finally starting to recover, there sales were still way down because Absinthe was 'the thing' of the Belle Epoque era. Because of its popularity it was also open to unscrupulous distilling practices, where poorer people and those who were alcoholics could buy cheap, and heavily adulterated Absinthe, which did have an effect on people's health. The wine industry seized on these incidents and used them to push this idea, to the medical community at the time, and basically anyone who would listen, that Absinthe was basically this evil poison that sent people completely mad, and cause all manner of ills in the world. Eventually they succeeded in their smear campaign, and Absinthe was gradually banned around the world.
 
In the meantime, I think I am going to call BS on STL's vouch for Cyndia, mostly because I think a village-y sounding ability clears no one in a Trilt game. Maybe just feeling a little contrarian because I'm screeeeewed for this test tomorrow morning.

I could see either way and with over 50% of players voting snowy doubt we'll be able to narrow that down.

More interesting to me is @SummerTheLynx not voting when being insistent on placing pressure on people to gather info. Guessing he got busy...unless I missed his name on there or his vote was missed.

1. You can totally go through a game wanting to lynch everyone. Trust me, I know it is possible.
2. Clearing people beyond reasonable doubt is also a great way to make them wolf kill targets. But you know that, no?

I don't get why everyone is saying I vouched for cyndia. My vote came off cyndia because she was talking. But I said the role can go either way, and how she used it is sort of villagery. I really would not call that any means of a vouch...

I feel like that was not the clearest distinction, because you made both points (she has done vaguely village things with her ability; she is talking more) in basically the same sentence. I didn't say it was a hard vouch, though.

2. Wolves can't kill everyone if we find them first. I like working with people who I think are village. The point is not to be an island, it's to put our heads together to figure **** out. I keep it on thread so there's less of a chance of getting burned too badly, but it's not too different from working behind the scenes on these things. You guys like to do your fake suspicion of each other or whatever. It's not my style.
And who the **** said I was clearing anyone beyond reasonable doubt. Pretty sure I said nothing is 100%. It pleases me to have some reason to "trust" STL for the moment, so for the time being I can work with him and see where it gets me. That doesn't mean I'm going to put him in the 100% village column for the rest of the game (such a column does not exist for any non-me player).

I don't see what the huge deal is unless someone has reason to actually think he's a wolf right now.
Not saying anyone has to agree with where I've positioned him or anyone else, but it's not like I'm doing it without reason, so kindly step off 🙂

What is an absinthe fountain? A small (usually glass) receptacle on a stand, with usually 2-4 spigots on either side, that is designed to drip chilled water into the absinthe at a steady rate in order to open up the botanicals suspended in the high level of alcohol percentage - the water is usually dripped over 1-2 sugar cubes.

This is an Absinthe fountain in action, the change in colour and opacity of the Absinthe is known as 'the louche'.

Again, I'm not saying you 100% clear anyone. But you functionally clear them so you can work with them. And you keep reassessing as the game goes on.

But hell we all know my history, maybe my thinking STL is village right now is reason enough to think he's not.
