But also Clem was the only one sussing u Jay so idk how much of a good move would that be weh.

I feel like you’re a village powerhouse force right now that I want to love but then I get scared that you’re the best powerwolf I’ve met.


One interesting thing here, we’re either right about Nate and True or i betchya there’s a wolf on that Nate wagon.

Given the overall brevity of his ISO it struck me as an unusual thing to focus on, something that didn't really give him a read one way of the other.

I was asking a townread about their take on something, I don't think it's that unusual to do. And as I said I thought your vote could have been an easy way to get another name on the board, so I wanted to see if Jay saw anything off there or whether I was just more focused on it because it was a vote on me.

I've been kind of fine with Clem's tinfoil on you because maybe it'll mean you live a little longer if you're in fact town 😉

the commitment to not voting new players is admirable but when we're a little below 50% of the game i think you might have to bend a little there

Good opportunity for a question, Nate:

In our only game together, I was mafia-aligned and kind of got the best of you in our individual matchup (no boast intended, you're an excellent player). So I am a little surprised that you're confidently town reading me again. How do you think I differ from that previous game, and/or what else gives you that level of confidence in me?

I vibe with his pushes thus far, and he's seemed pretty comfortable, seemed interested in real-timing with me rather than piling on. Vague stuff. I don't think I have any specific posts in my notes that look good. And I think if either True or Empire are wolves then it would look like they were trying to interrupt JJJ/Santy finding each other early, but I don't want to pre-flip. There's plenty of tinfoil on that read because my track record of reading Santy has not been good thus far.

okay, but - you said it didn't strike you one way or the other, which feels a little bit different from what you're saying here

and it feels a bit to me like it could be floating a trial balloon to see if JJJ willwill be willing to push me and that opens things up for you to do so as well


but regardless of all that - I have seen your reads list. Is there a reason I'm a scumread for you now? I couldn't find a fully articulated argument in your reads.
 
fwiw I thought AM's questioning on page 15 was fairly towny
 
In a while I'll be more free prob. I intend to ISO genny and realtime with Nate/True if possible to decide optimal yeet for today

I'm not excellent but thanks for saying so (though I will take the opportunity to boast that after you flipped I used VCA to correctly call out your 2 wolfmates exactly.... which since I'd hard defended you was ignored and then I was misyeeted and nobody looked at it again :bag:)

Going into that game I had high expectations based on your reputation and spec chat persona etc, and then in the game I was somewhat underwhelmed? But I set those concerns aside because I wasn't sure if it was fair to hold you to a standard that I'd essentially invented in my head. And here I haven't really felt the same gut concerns. Which is vague, but it's day 1. In other words it seems like you're having fun being the town leader instead of pretending to be one. It's a vibe, so far.

I was also curious to see how you'd approach me given the last game. My expectation was that if you were a wolf again you'd probably see me as someone to keep around for a later misyeet, since that's what happened last time, and that hasn't seemed to be your approach to me here.

w/r/t clem:

i know he can frequently be aloof on day 1 as either alignment and so it's not always easy to get a read, he can be an "easy" misyeet

i think when motivated he's fully capable of projecting towniness as mafia by acting in a more conventional manner as mafia but he is not always motivated

i also think when he's town he usually has flashes of genuine moments behind his facade

i didn't think he'd open the game by voting you as mafia but i haven't seen anything from him since that rings genuine

I wasn't sure if it was AI, an outside perspective is helpful to me especially for pushes on myself. I'm not really prone to OMGUS in general but it helps to get other viewpoints on it.

Either way, in my catchup post-readslist I thought your content looked a lot better on p12/p13 so I'm now more interested in True over you.
 
I dont think Empire should be yeeted today, they are pocketing me with some posts smh

I'm not entirely comfortable with where my POE is? For one I haven't interacted directly with True very much. And for the other, if I'm less interested in Empire I'm no totally sure who else I'd slot in there..
