Congrats! What are your stats? Did they say anything about how full they are? I interview this next Monday on the 13th and I was just curious if it's for a wait list spot or if there are still openings. Thanks!

They didn't say anything about it being full, they didn't mention to let them know if we wouldn't be attending so that the spot could be released. PM'ed you stats.
 
Any updates from the March 10 interview? Seems like no answers from that interview date.

During the interview they said its ranked. It just seems like no one got accepted from the March 10 interview directly.

Ya they told us that the wait list process won't be revealed to us...and Ya no one from March tenth got in directly but people who interviewed a week later are reporting acceptances so I'm not exactly sure what happened...
 
Anyone find a list of clinical sites ? and if they still have openings?

Hey Jmust171,
I was interviewed with you at sethon hill lecom. I have interview coming up on April 28th at tour neveda. My stats are very similar to yours. I see you were waitlisted at this school and 28th April is last interview date for this cycle. Do you think I should go, given it is expensive to go to other end of country for an interview. Please pm me.
 
Hi All, I'm interviewing here tomorrow. This is very likely the final med school interview for me this cycle. Any words of wisdom in preparation for the interview? I'll be re-reading my AACOMAS tonight and know to be prepared for "why medicine," "why DO," "why Touro-NV." Thanks and good luck all!

Hello guys,

Interviewed 3/10. Waitlisted. Felt that this was the best interview I had all cycle. 26 mcat. 3.85 GPA. Do u guys think I have a good chance of being pulled off the waitlist???

Any accepted students here willing to PM me or something regarding how to go about getting an acceptance here. Have a mid 3.4 sGPA and mid 3.3 gpa with a 27 MCAT. Have about 300+ hours of clinic volunteering in underserved communities with 200+ hours shadowing MDs and DOs. Like 50+ hours private tutoring high school kids in random classes.

Getting ready to pre-write secondaries and just want to talk to someone who's been through the process and would be kind enough to help me with this rollercoaster of a process.

Many rotation sites are in Sumerlin and at Valley Hospital (near the strip) but TUN gives you the option of setting up rotations elsewhere (ranging from an other state to at another Dr.s office close to where you're living) you just would have to do the leg work. This is assuming that you don't like what they've already set up for you
 
any updates? i was waitlisted back in november. still waiting for an acceptance but the waiting is starting to take its toll and its starting to dishearten me. any movement in the waitlist?

I'm sorry to hear that man. If you don't mind, can I please ask you about why you were waitlisted? You seemed to have good enough stats and solid ECs? You can PM me if you'd like. I really want to attend this school when I apply this upcoming cycle and would appreciate any advice. congrats on your other acceptances tho!
 
Has anyone heard back from the 4/13 interview? They mentioned that they'd tell us by yesterday but I haven't heard anything.

To my knowledge, they will be informing us on April 29th--tomorrow, that at least is what they told us in the morning interview.
 
Just heard back. Got wait listed. :/ interviewed April 13th afternoon.

Right now the Facebook page for the 2019 class has 124 members but some people are class reps or current students.
 
Will be giving up my seat here this week. Hope it goes to someone well deserving off the wait list. Good luck!
 
At my interview a month or so ago, they said the class was not full, but they were holding a few slots for people that they felt were a good fit. They said there is pretty good movement off the wait list (but varies tremendously year to year). Not sure where you are geographically, but the closer you are to NV, the more likely you are to get the last minute call asking you to start with the class.

There were quite a few of us (~5-10% of the class), myself included, in the 2018 class that got accepted off the waitlist mid-late June and into the first part of July. You still have a chance to get in; hang tight and cross your fingers like we all did about this time last year. For me, when I thought that I for sure got a silent rejection and started to think about retaking the MCAT and reapplying, I got the call.
