Just to give y'all some insight. Interviews I Believe are continuing till around mid-February. You might not hear back till early March. Last year we didn't hear until the first week of March 🙂 I hope this helps and I know the waiting is hard but always remember how far you've come!
 
Those of you who were told we would hear back in March, when was your interview? I interviewed in mid-October (submitted my app mid August) and was told they hope to send out admissions announcements end of December/early January when they are done with interviews. I know the latest could be March, but I was hoping by this month I would know something. 😢

March is what's on the website and was in the interview information packet! I'm guessing if they told others end of Dec/early Jan that they were hoping to get the decisions out earlier but have March as the latest.
 
My interview was on Oct 30th. At the end of the interview process they told us we should expect to hear back in March
 
Has anyone uploaded their fall transcripts into the portal? I emailed my advisor but still have yet to hear back from her. (Also if it helps anyone with the timeline of interview invites, I submitted mine right before the deadline, as in a few minutes before the deadline, and my portal still says that my app needs to be processed.)
 
I have not submitted fall transcripts as I haven't heard to, yet. They should really send a clarifying email with the specific email address they want it sent to. ISU just sent instructions for their school, Western should do the same

Definitely agree with you on that. Seems like there's a lot of confusion now about submitting fall transcripts.
 
My application is still sitting at "Your application has been sent to Admissions for processing." Michael is impossible to get ahold of. It's very frustrating that they are not giving us any updates.

None of them have been responding and I’ve been trying to get ahold of Jaziel for months
 
Re: Fall transcripts, according to the interview booklet they sent with interview offers, "Updated Official Transcripts Fall & Winter Coursework Due March 31, 2022". So, they technically wouldn't be required until AFTER admissions offers are sent out. However, it's possible they would review them if you sent them in earlier and that could potentially help your application? Not sure. More info below on how to send:

Yeah, I asked Tonisha if sending in fall transcripts while my application is still being processed would be okay, and she hasn't responded to me...though judging by everyone's posts on here, I don't think I should be expecting a response.

No, was never given any info because they were trying to determine if my prereqs met the requirements but they haven’t updated me since October
 
does anyone else no longer have any sort of status update on their application portal??
 
I no longer have any status updates on my application, but I got an email today saying that my application is incomplete and needs "the following items" to move forward because I am missing two prerequisites. We are allowed to have two prerequisites missing, is there somewhere we need to annotate this? I don't want my application to get stuck now. I emailed back, but I am wondering if I am going to receive a response seeing as some people haven't even been able to get into contact with their admissions advisors when they haven't been able to schedule an interview. Does anyone know of a number to contact to get in touch with an actual human. Every number I call leads to a voicemail that the campus is closed due to COVID.

Missing prerequisites should be marked on VMCAS as "planned" or "in progress" courses. If you didn't do it on VMCAS you'll need to tell them your plans for taking the courses - when, where, course # and credits, etc.

As far as getting in touch with them I'm not sure the best way to reach them 🙁 But definitely email that information so they have it somewhere!

I have no status update at all and haven't received any emails regarding interviews.

Hello 😀 Check the email you received when you were offered the interview and it will have a link! That link will take you to the Western website and you’ll see a PDF on that website (including the welcome video from the Dean). The PDF is the booklet you're referring to! Let me know if that works 😉
 
Hey guys! It looks like my app finally got processed (I submitted a few min before the actual deadline, so if anyone submitted around the same time as me, your app should probably be processed or be processed soon since they look at apps in chronological order based on submission.) Does anyone else (who graduated during the winter semester/previous quarter) have new items on their application checklist? This showed up for me today. Sorry, the copy and paste looks super weird. Anyways, I plan on sending them my fall transcript but am not sure on how to satisfy the pending degree requirement. It takes the departments that I graduated from a couple of months to go over the degree list, which means that my degrees won't show up on my transcript until the departments have finished with their check. Does anyone else have a similar problem or any advice?

Getting so anxious waiting to hear back from Western! A friend of mine was accepted into UC Davis yesterday (I was denied) and so Western is now my only hope...interviewed in October hopefully we'll hear something soon!

Oh, my, we are both on pins and needles!! The wait is rough 😞
 
Does anyone know when we should start to apply for fafsa & loans? I am not sure if I have been accepted or not but want to make sure I’m on the right timeline!
