Does anyone know if getting a C- is okay to get in a non prerequisite course. I have already been accepted IS. I don't want a bad grade to affect my acceptance.

Did you get scholarships to CSU then? COA is just so insanely different between the two...

Yes, CSU did offer me a scholarship! I know that CSU is insanely more expensive overall but I have so many connections there that I can't just give up, and the thought of being isolated in Pullman gave me a lot of anxiety (I know it grows on people but I just couldn't shake it).
 
Anyone been called off the WSU IS waitlist or heard of anyone getting off, probs not but I’m just curious, getting real nervous!

Same here! I heard it might be at least a week because they reconvene to talk about the candidates again?
Did you have your file review?

I'm sure that they want to fill the spaces of people (like me) that rejected their IS seats to go elsewhere. So there's probably at least one seat available due to stuff like that. It probably does take time to think about which candidates they want to pull to replace those that choose not to attend.
 
Having a hard time finding a place to rent in Pullman. Any recommendations or advice on where to look??

Apartment rentals has units still available. Have you looked in the housing packet the school sends out? There's probably units still listed there
 
Craigslist and Zillow were my friends last spring. If you find a place jump on it! Places don’t last long in Pullman/Moscow.
 
I’m WICHE so I’ve been looking in Moscow too. Is the drive to campus pretty reasonable?

It's a straight shot on the highway. I made a brief stop in Moscow to get Taco Time (at "that" Taco Time, they have breakfast burritos with mexi fries inside of them, you know)

It was maybe 15 minutes.
 
I did not make it to class a couple days last winter and I am moving back to Pullman for the upcoming year. My case was a little special because I lived 10 minutes out of Moscow. If you live in town and only have to do the main roads and highway, as long as your good in the snow, you’ll be fine. The commute during other times of the year is perfectly fine. The downside to living in Moscow is that everyone wants to do things in Pullman so your either driving back and forth ($$$gas$$$) or not going home (doesn’t work well with pets). I personally wish I hadn’t moved to Moscow, but I love the town just not the 30 minute commute from my place.

ALSO, it’s a ten minute drive from the stoplight in front of winco to the lot in front of the school in good weather.
 
Does anyone know if there is a deadline to accept/decline your loans in the student portal?
 
Does anyone know how to change the loan amount? I found where to accept them but can’t edit the amount

Im trying to go off memory, but -You should be able to go the the accept page. Then there should be a drop box that has accept/ decline. Then if you accept there should be a check box that says reduce. Mark that and you should be able to change it.

I mean I'm not that hard to connect dots to so I don't mind because I'm going to tell people the same things to people in real life and on here. For some people might it be a bigger deal? for sure. So just keep it in mind for others.

Even if you tell people the same things online and irl and they can connect the dots, it’s still not at all okay and not cool to out someone else without their permission.
 
Uhm hey ski back off. All I told her was that's how we knew each other. She's never even heard of this site. I would suggest you don't get offended on other people's behalves because it doesn't put you in a good light to be all judgemental about something that doesn't concern you at all.

I kind of agree with Ski here. If it's a username they use on more than 1 site, you might out someone's activities they don't want outed. Would be good to keep in mind that if you don't have someone's permission you shouldn't volunteer information about them.

Seems like no harm no foul in this case, but I'd hate to see it differently.

Legit the only information shared was that "I know her from this website cause we played this game together". Never mentioned usernames.
