And Hot Shot. Is it just coincidence that so many of the deaths are squeezed into those two locations?

I haven't pulled out lynch vs kill to see if that makes it look different.

Bored and waiting for the results...2 of the 4 kills in stackhouse were lynches. 2 of the 3 kills in hot house were lynches.

Day 6 Results

As night falls, the moon rises full on the town of Bon Temps.

The news of Bill Compton's death swept through the town quickly; it seemed to rouse the residents into a fever over today's lynch. What started as a normal lynch discussion turned into a slew of verbal banter, finger-pointing, and name-calling between LIS and DVMDream. While the resulting popcorn and waffles were delicious, the residents could not be swayed from their Sheeps vs. WTF debate. Should they lynch an ambiguous character or one who claims to be good? Back and forth they went. Finally, with mere minutes remaining, WolfSpeaker voted to put the final nail in WTF's coffin.

Afraid of any more chaos, Mayor Abney quickly throws the noose around WTF and pulls the lever. WTF drops to her undeath. (Everyone should know you can't kill a vampire that way.) Instead of allowing any more disorder or debate, swingnsave pulls out his pocket knife and proceeds to hack off WTF's head. Crudely beheaded, her body immediately shrivels and turns to ashe.

You have lynched WTF, aka Franklin Mott,a wolf. Nobody knows torture better than Franklin.

Whoops, sorry guys went out drinking since classes were cancelled for me tomorrow, thanks for not lynching me. I meant to put in a vote for WTF before I left but people wanted to go sooner than I was ready for. Two of my relatives are already dead in this game, hopefully that reveals my role, or is enough of a hint. I am not really worried about revealing my role, if the wolves want to attack me they can go ahead and try.

Also I think at least one of the other people to vote for me is a wolf.

Are you referring to the dead faeries? Cause that would be curious to me. Not in a "kill him he's lying" way necessarily. Just odd. Lots of faery characters. If I'm understanding that right.

Problem with this: I worked varied hours during the day. Sometimes dayshift, sometimes night, sometimes both or inbetween. Would be nice to know what I need to set my alarm for. 😎

The only thing I could think of would be that he is related to the Stackhouses. Hadley is Adele Stackhouse's granddaughter. The only Stackhouses left are Jason and Sookie. Sookie is half fae (technically Jason is, too but he didn't get any Fairy powers).

How many wolves have we got? 2? With 30 peeps to start, there's probably ... what ... 5-6 originals? Possibly 1 convert so far? So it's reasonable-to-likely we have 4-5 wolves left?

That basically guarantees that there's at least one wolf (and probably more than one) being vouched for. I know I'm a villager, which leaves 5 unvouched for people.

It's a hard sell to get me to believe that basically every other unvouched person is a wolf.

Ignoring your snark ... what I'm suggesting is that people are placing WAY too much confidence in people when they "reveal their role". People are letting other folks tell them a role, and then they're turning around and "vouching" for them when they have no real GOOD reason to do so.

That might be a good strategy in a game with a more limited role set. But this is a mythos with a TON of characters - more than 100 on the wiki page. I'm not familiar with it, but my character is way the heck down on the list in wikipedia (I dunno how major my character is; the list is alphabetical). So it'd be a pretty reasonable strategy to pick a minor character (if you're familiar with the series), lay claim to it, and away you go. Obviously you risk being investigated, but if you're being backed into a corner by people demanding your role ... what do you have to lose?

We need to be smarter about knowing whether we're vouching for someone because we have a really GOOD reason to do so - or whether we're vouching for them just because we exchanged some PMs and they didn't set off any alarms.

Until then, our "vouched" list is crap.

Having said (ranted?) all that - I agree. Investigate the unvouched peeps first. Starting with me, PLEASE.
