stella i have no idea about, could be mod smiting, but Crayons made the tie so that's my guess (and others) as to why she was the one who died.

Okay to be fair, my item yesterday was also vague "salt adds a bit of spice to any recipe, use this on the person of your choosing to add a bit of salt to their life" Paws and I thought it was probably a good thing, but who really knows? Also, I always use items even if i don't know what they do (I've gotten posting restriction that way before). I'm just a cat and can't help myself 😛

My thought was they killed the last people who voted for the tied players or the last two people who voted, but those would both not include stella. Do you think they are related? Maybe cray died because of creating a tie and stella due to an item?
 
nope went back and iso'd mixy. Spent a lot of time talking about the same thing every day instead of analysis (eg. D1 about how they don't like tin foil hat theories, d2 about how AM normally tunnels) Seems to be repeating thoughts of others and a bit more defensive then I'd expect for only me really wanting to lynch them.

What if the salt like, doubles someone's ability (if we have any)? Or doubles the effect of any item or something? It could explain the double-kill.
 
Also, quick list of thoughts on people for pippy and anyone else who wants to lynch me as I won't be around for close (though I half want to be lynched because I am frusturated at this point in the game)

VMH - seems like her normal self upon rez, have cdo as village so likely also village
AM - her play seems typical. She sits back and asks a few questions early game, but late game starts pressuring hard. Like her gunning finn today.
Cdo - Confused by her thinking there was a bandwagon D1 when there wasn't and holding back saying she rezzed vmh, but think those are more villager mistakes then not.
Glam - Not to many thoughts so far. ftb seemed village to me and glam hasn't said anything that makes me suspect her
Ski - could vote here. Somethings she says I agree with. Confused at why she went after cdo for not revealing she rezzed vmh, but didn't come right out with the info she rezzed LIS. I have a note that D1 she had an overreaction to killerleaf, but don't really remember why that set off my radar.
Finn - village for interactions with mel. But she I feel is very hard for me to read.
Nohika - vote D1 because she finds mel annoying makes me think village. Neutral category though, because I don't have too many thoughts on her.
Killer - Seems village because she is lost on a lot of simple WW concepts, I feel like she might know if she were part of a wolf pack
VA - Hard to read because all over the place. Was village and is now leaning wolfy due to some comments yesterday and today. Don't want to just give her a noob pass anymore because she's confusing. But hard to read.
Capri - village points for early on lynching someone she thought had a posting restriction. Was she a wolf last game? Will have to go through her posts iso'd before I decide what I think. Neutral for now.
Bryn - Seems village, though early game was kinda wolfy. I think her restating other peoples thoughts is more noob trying to figure out what is suspicious. Especially since she is so concerned about sounding wolfy (I feel like wolves don't state "is this wolfy to do" on thread)
Mixy - sketchy because concentrates on not super important things and doesn't talk about much more for the day. So it seems like they are contributing a lot without making broad discussions.
Sky - restating facts to make them sound like her opinions. So wolfy.

Hmmm this makes sense, but I used it on cray so wouldn't really explain the double kill. Also probably wouldn't double an ability if everyone is vanilla

i questioned why cdo didn't reveal that she rezzed vmh sometime earlier in the day rather than 20 minutes before lynch close. she was leading for a good portion of the day and if she had revealed even an hour before close it could have prevented the ****showwafflefest we had last night.

Who did Trilt want lynched?

There's some value in following that. Trilt is clueful. I'm not quite so interested in who Mel wanted - Mel goes in for too many tinfoil hat theories to really give much credence to a "lynch this person if I die" kinda thing.

(Although if Snowy really goes down a wolf, I'm gonna have to rethink. I'm not sure Mixalot has what it takes to bus a wolf like that. Her vote might make me change my mind if Snowy is wolf.)

It looks to me like Trilt wanted to lynch Snowy to determine if allieh was picking a vote to avoid lynching either Mel or Snowy to protect wolfpack. Could I get help from someone who wasn't there about if and why Trilt was actually suspicious of Snowy?

The results of her lynch will provide us with good information moving forward and while I'm not entirely sold on Snowy being a wolf I remember when I read the arguments behind lynching her they made sense to me and she would have been my vote after unlynching egg, had I not been in a position where it looked like I was going to make a tie. I also don't have strong suspicions anywhere else right now. I also get the feeling we're going to keep coming back to her until she is dead anyways.
 
lynch VA

I get the information gained - it's not just allieh, but mixy also avoided the snowy/mel lynch D3 for not feeling strongly about either one. However, I think Snowy leans village, and I've liked their posts today.

VA looked like she/he was self-destructing under pressure earlier today. I have outstanding questions, and would like to see how I'm answered. Maybe the lynch vote would help.

@VicariousAsparagus, why do you think there is a pack leader this game?

Didn't look for post to say I had said honestly. I had used the word honestly and got crucified for it as if I was lying (yeah ik this is ww) but I used that as reference to show I was legit at an interview therefore not lying.

I will buy the Allie thing. It sounds legit with knowing the item description paired with the night write up. Telling you you're reading way too hard into my play style. I feel I make decent contributions and analysis so if you disagree I would like to know how you would like me to present my information to satisfy you. As far as my defensiveness see my posts from yesterday I was having a bad day and promised to be better today. What I don't understand is you have others with more firm wolf points yet you insist on lynching me but whatever, go for it. Village will only lose more numbers if/when you successfully get me lynched. Also don't feel I've spent time on irrelevant things considering I've based my arguments on my previous play experience, which although limited it's what I have. Tinfoil hats up until this game I had only seen used by wolfs. As far as AM, I still stand by the I don't see it as her normal village play. Obviously we disagree on this, but I've disagreed and agreed with others reads before as have you so I don't see why you think it's irrelevant if it's what I think.

So if Snowy flips village (and I think she will), then I think everyone should take a hard look at who is/was pushing for her to go. I don't get wolfy vibes from Snowy, and I think lynching her is a mistake.

It seems to me that these items (the salt/spice, and the whisk) are not necessarily positive ones. Cray and Paws went down after having those items used on them so maybe they actually help pick those off that you use them on, as opposed to helping them (like with the apron).

The thing is people are reading way too much into it. Your comment raising suspicion not crucifixion but then vmh and snowy reading way too much into it. Hopefully my explanation of it makes sense if not idc. Again still slightly annoyed from yesterday but trying to be better today 🙂

While I take your point, and I am glad to see you put a stake in the ground ...

... I think this sort of thinking doesn't often get wolves, especially at this point in the game. Maybe in late-game where wolves have to steer things more, but most people whose wolving I'm familiar with won't work too hard to get a villager lynched, since the village usually does all the work for them.
 
Fwiw I think anyone who got the rez item or the apron is village. IDK about any of the other items. For 2 reasons IDK why a wolf would rez a villager and IDK why a wolf would need protection from night action. Of course there could be all kinds of mechanics but I think it's the most likely scenario.

then wolves could receive items as easily as villagers could receive items.

If you're talking about using the rez in particular, then I agree that the D2 use of that item struck me as village.

Protection doesn't really matter either way -- there could very well even be a chaos with a night kill like there was in the noob game. (These are the chaos mods, after all @Karabiner13 @PrincessButterCup @kaydubs )

So would it be more beneficial to look more harshly and those who don't push for lynches too hard? Not saying it's anywhere near the same, but that was my strategy for the noob game and I pegged a wolf right before I died.

village cred. They can say that they rezzed so and so and like you did, people will say “oh they’re more likely villager because they rezzed a dead villager” and “oh they had the apron and were attacked by the wolves they’re probably villager”
The apron I assume would protect against any vig kills if they are present (may be what the whisk does) or any wolf kills redirected onto them (may also be a different option for what the whisk does).
Don’t just write someone off and say “oh they’re village” just because they got a villagey item. We don’t know how they’re handed out. Could be rng through the whole roster, could be rng through just villagers, could be rng through the roster with villagers or vanillas having a higher chance at items, could be some other method.

I dunno that I have an answer. And I don't even want to ... ignore ... your point from before. It's not without merit. I just think it can be a rabbit hole, yanno?

Same thing happens with lots of points. Like the "Honestly" thing. It's just one data point - weak by itself. People, including me, maybe especially me, can get too latched on to one data point.

If your strategy worked for pegging a wolf in n00b game, then I'd roll with it.

I mean, if you don't think Snowy is a wolf, I believe you. I just also believe the Hydra. 🙂

So paws died, someone tried to kill allie, and the freezing could be a vig item that didn't work? Thats a lot of kills for one night.. Since allie used the item on herself, the allie almost kill could be entirely made-up to make her look villagey.

What even is this analysis. No one is missing. No one was frozen. Mods wrote "....as no one else is missing" as in dead. A theory was that someone used a vig item on me. But seeing as how the whisk was used on paws and she died, I'm putting my money on the wolves attacking me. I know there's no proof to this but I had the freaking protection apron last night, which I posted the description of. The wording of the item was confirmed. Do you see anyone else coming forward saying they were attack? The mods would have informed someone if they were attacked but protected. I realize now as I'm typing this that maybe you're thinking someone else was attacked but is silenced and that I'm making all of this up. But I'm like 95% positive you're going to be wrong.

I'm very tempted to switch my vote to snowy tonight.

You have to be really careful where you put your lynch votes when you're a wolf. And especially now, you really don't have to stir the pot a lot because the village does a whole lot of the work for you. It's finding the balance between being early, vs being late and considered a 'bandwagon'. You're looking for the people who are fringe on the edges, who dance around the point without making much of one. Those who keep avoiding lynch or attention.

Which is why I want to lynch the asparagus.

I understand, in the only other game I played the villagers went at each other pretty well and the wolves just stayed back and let us kill each other off. I'm happy with a VA lynch, I voted for him/her the last two nights and I don't want to tunnel but they may be my vote tonight if no one else raises alarms after rereading. Mixy I have been reading as about the same as in the noob game, but I would need to go back and ISO them to see if I missed anything.

VA was supposed to die last night, and nothing he/she has said today makes me feel like they are village. Yes, I'm probably tunneling on them (three whole votes in a row), but Snowy is also close to being the one to go tonight, and I feel strongly (feels and our interactions via PM) that she is not a wolf so I want to further that gap. Voting elsewhere tonight when I think one is a wolf and the other isn't just doesn't make any sense, even if there are others that seem wolfy and I think need to go.

Hahahahaha no. In the noob game KD made it well known that she did not like last-minute waffling. One time we even did incur her wrath and it ended with both people in a tie and the person who made the tie all dead.

The only thing I can think of that even comes close to making sense is that the tie caused RNG among everyone. But that just seems too far-fetched to me.
