I was going to vote someone but I am going to lynch trilt again to break tie and for getting way too defensive about the "don't lynch for no good reason" thing. It's the first day (I can usually get my bearings and vote with a reason by day 2) and I don't know the rest of you well enough to know personal nuances and play style, so what else am I supposed to do?

I can't tell if this is just reaching for justification or suspicious or I just don't like the reasoning because I agree with Trilt on this particular subject. But "dislike"

Don't want to lynch Trilt (at least, def not this early in game 😛). She's our main conversationalist and I don't think it's wise to kill off one of the more vocal players first.

Since I have no other reasoning/anything standing out to me, I'll go ahead and tie up HTML, so no one has to be afraid of switching off Trilt if they want.

I am not particularly feeling this trilt lynch, she is not differing much from other games. But then again it's only two days in. I would prefer a html lynch given that trilt is actually contributing, but meh....
 
I've seen nothing from Rocky to make me want to change. Her justification yesterday made me mildly eyebrow furrow and nothing today impressed me.

Html is one of the people I dont like to vote for early because she's rarely (never?) a wolf and very often killed early. Doesn't mean she isn't sketch, just I'm not thrilled by the vote for her this early for humane purposes.

Don't do this to me Trilt. This sort of last minute defense of the front runner (especially when her being pushed to the lead is saving you from being in the lead) feels like a smart wolf move and pinged my radar super hard. I'm guessing HTML will flip village and this sort of defense might be intended to make you look like a good kind-hearted villager when that happens. Not saying that's what you're definitely doing, you might just be being honest, but it definitely feels off to me. Not switching my vote just yet, but putting my suspicions out there.

I agree with not liking lynching html out of the game early based on the fact that she doesn't necessarily deserve it, but there is a first (second?) time for every wolf, and I was kinda hoping she would join us and say something by now.
 
Meh. My vote hasn't changed, just wanted to explain why it's kind of a non-useful one at this point. I end up defending wolves and villagers all the time just based on mah feels. See re:genny in last game I played.
 
The phone rang, and it wasn't a number Keith recognized. "Mars Investigations," he answered.

"Mr. Mars, it's Duncan."

Veronica's history with Duncan was long and complicated. Veronica had lost touch with him after he fled to Mexico - after she helped him flee to Mexico, Keith reminded himself. He'd been none to happy about that, but he knew Duncan's heart was in the right place. It was good to hear from him.

"I want you to look into the Manning family. I'm worried that they might have done something, because they knew Veronica helped me with Lilly . . . " And here we run into quite a few spoilers for Season 2, so we'll skip the to important parts.

Mrs. Manning - @lhmhtd, Vanilla Villager - hated Veronica Mars. Veronica had accused her of child abuse, and she was largely responsible for Lilly and Duncan's unlawful disappearance from America. Keith had already checked her off his list. Mrs. Manning, guilty though she was of other crimes, did not kill Veronica Mars.

Night Deadline is 7 am PST (because I don't have to work tomorrow morning! celebrate with me!), unless the inconsistency causes problems, in which case I can close later, but I suspect we should be able to close then. We'll see.

My sincere apologies for misgendering you. It has happened to me many times. And yes FAFSA is the devil. And this can be a hard game to play when other things are going on, I've been there too. No hard feelings. Also, nice to meet you since I don't believe we've played together before. 🙂

Sometimes someone just gives you the creeps. @SummerTheLynx - The Stepfather, vanilla villager - was that guy. You know, the guy you sidestep away from when he tries to hug you at a party. The guy you do not want to be caught alone with, but you're not sure why.

He was on Keith's list suspects, but Keith spent only a few moments looking into him. He verified that the Stepfather was still incarcerated, and then he crossed him off his list. Veronica's death was personal. It wasn't something you planned behind prison walls and then paid someone else to carry out.

Day 3. Deadline 6:30 pm PST, 7:30 MST, 8:30 CST, 9:30 EST, 12:30 pm AEDT

So what I'm getting from write ups is role name will not be much help. What I'm getting by other means is that only vanilla villagers are convertible. Make of that what you will.

I mean, it makes sense thematically, having one wolf to begin with. One person to do the hit and run crime, then others who Mars has accused could be converted. I'd hope from a game design perspective that the conversion was forced to happen early.

We need to consider the fact that it's PBC, too, and she bleeds chaos blue...

I'm going to reread once I'm home from work and consider. Thinking my vote will go to Rocky again because she hasn't contributed anything that convinces me otherwise, but gonna try not to tunnel there.
 
Lots going on while I finished up my day, I see.

Deva's kind of making me tingle a little. LotF always sketches me out and she's doing her normal thing. Gonna stick on lynch Rocky because I'm nothing if not persistent and nothing's been said that impresses me there.

Can we talk about items? I've had none and nothing happen to me so far. Someone mentioned Veronica's computer, others..?
 
I've been rereading the thread, trying to see if there is any info to be found.

From the lynch and night kill lists, sounds like all of us are vanilla villagers.

How funny would it be if either Veronica killed herself or the Keith that is going through the list dismissing us is the wolf. Either way, hero in the series =wolfy bad guy. (PBC, I'm looking at you.)

I had Veronica's computer night 1 and asked about number of wolves. Who had it last night?

Otherwise, somebody communicated with STL, and then Dev. It could be an item, or maybe we have at least one player with an ability beyond wolfing.
 
I thought somebody else had mentioned an item, but didn't see it when I went back through. Maybe misread since I was posting about my item around that time?

Not confirmed, but I feel like this is a very vanilla-heavy game.

Sounds like I have a deer to dissect soon. I am trying to figure out a lynch vote before I don't want to touch my phone. My temptation is to go for someone being quieter and hiding in the background unless someone has a better idea?

Let's see, how many lectures did I get as a n00b that quietness did not equal wolfiness? Lest we forget LOTF only voted to lynch FS AFTER she realized he wasn't going to be on to speak for himself... totally a benign way to put the rock over someone's grave. but somehow my vote earlier that morning at the stoplight warranted a red flag? On top of that, her reasoning to lynch me is quietness. Hmmm....

I think compared to the other things others have been discussing, voting to lynch me is silly.

I'm surprised to see so few ears perked at Jil for inquiring the source of Deva's information. Since this is more of a basic game with what seems to be quite a few vanillagers, it could just be an innocent attempt and trying to find figure out roles (if they are there) or a more wolfy behavior of wanting to kill the messenger since there is also no PMing.

Oh Jesus Christ people, why do you always want to lynch me as a villager?! Yes, I'm curious about the mystery messages. Why isn't anyone else? I also changed my vote yesterday to 1) break a tie and 2) help trilt who I feel is innocent. That is not wolfy behavior and is pretty typical for me.
