Weim= untrackable and hard to Lynch
MJ= nothin
Finn= jailer

But why would they have killed the tracker if they were somehow now untrackable? Though it does appear there is still a jailer, which I find very interesting indeed...

This is a bit WIFOM, but I think there's a chance someone is trying to set up a capri kill

I also think we should also consider the possibility that MJ may have been the convert or had some other ability that is now gone, and we may be looking for the last original.

I also got the tin foil and got an accurate response about what AM got for being mayor. So I am inclined to believe kcoughli here. Whether or not MJ was the convert, idk. I'm not sure if they always announce if someone was a convert or no

Genny's the one I want to hear from most and I doubt she's around. A lynch vote won't suddenly get her to come around if she hasn't responded to my earlier tag. Everyone else knows where I want to vote.

I'm just noting this because it was in the middle of the shenanigans (@Melchizedek ) last night, and I'm not too crazy about the explanation here. Feels like a bit of a stretch to say that breaking up pockets is actually good for communication, and I don't like the hesitancy to reveal because of concerns over how people might react to it

This part is directed at Capri: I know why you want to kill me, and it’s the same reason why I no longer want to kill you. I believe you are what you’ve claimed, though I thought you were lying yesterday so I voted for you. It’s also why it appears abilities can come back from the dead @PippyPony but that’s not it exactly. It’s all passive.

Had to think about it for a second but I think I get it now. Not sure how I feel about it yet though.
 
I'm torn because I feel like genny would have been a good convert, and I felt like she was being very villager-genny last night with those comments that I quoted earlier. Also feel like she could be lying right now about some things.

On the other hand, I also think it probably makes the most sense overall for capri to be the convert... but idk. Reading back through her posts, she's not really acting like a villager...although it's tough because Caiter was gone for so much of the early-mid game. Don't know what to make of the vouch from genny, either.

I also kinda feel like people are moving onto the jboo vote because AM told them to do it and therefore it's easy

I don't get why you seem to think either genny or capri need to be villager.

I am not moving to jboo because of that. I had voted for her yesterday until the stuff with AM went down. Her being suspicious of you, me, and Capri also strikes me very strangely.

Because there is some weird stuff going on in that direction and I'm trying to make sense of it, and because contrary to popular belief, AM is not an all-knowing god. It makes me nervous when I feel like there is some sketchy business going on but people are just taking someone else's reads as unassailable fact.

I think I have made sense of it with some knowledge I have.

I have no reason to suspect dolphin, capri, you, genny, or stagg.

That leaves jboo, snowy, and cray as unknowns.

It's not just her suspicion of just capri that strikes me as odd. It is her suspicion of you, me, and her.

so I started building the event tracker, because I can't really get out of this rut of where I put everyone in my piles since the start of the game. Most of it is feels, and like how many times did I go to vote someone forgetting some crucial fact? Like ranting about AM voting herself mayor and then voting her, forgetting she was mayor and that voting her the first day after winning was probably premature?

There are other examples of this, I'm sure.

A lot of people got a pass for a bit for this or that action, result, vouch, and then we had subs.

For once I'm thrown off with the convert hunting, because I feel like I need to reconsider why I have my current leans and if that is still good evidence of anything or not.

I cleared jboo for the lynch cancel - but like, it's been brought up that could be a mindfrak or that now she's a conversion target.

I agree with AM's wolfy leans, but how does that help me vote today?

There is no stretch. PM mash up has absolutely been a good guy ability before. Or an item that anyone could use, and good guys have chosen to use it.

No stretch to say that breaking up pockets is good. Not too long ago I revisited theory on use of PMs. I'm frankly too exhausted to write the whole treatise on why PM communications should actually be limited. It is possible for good guys to build a circle of communication and information sharing that is awesome sauce by PM. But in the hands of the unskilled, PM'ing actually tends to favour baddies. Yes, there is a chance that extended exposure to a baddie by PM leads someone to catching on that they're a baddie. More commonly though, pocketing occurs.

In fact, I had this very same discussion with WZ before this game after the one game where we lost at lylo to AM. We talked about A LOT of the things that have come up this game. One was how people rely too much on the "traditional" alignments of various abilities, and we discussed at length how various abilities can be used for either faction. One we talked about was PM abilities even, I believe. We definitely talked about the dangers of PMing and not having more on thread, and that breaking up PMs was one way to do that.

I'm a wolf, I had an ability. I wanted to use to help the pack. Also because I had an ability and wanted to use it, sue me. The way I used it and why, I think helps the pack.

I didn't want to bring it up, not necessarily because of how wolves would see it, because I have already said what I think about it and see no reason to fear wolves. I was more worried about what villagers might assume and whether or not that would encourage them to lynch me.

I knew that I was watched and I didn't say anything. I could have rushed to the thread to tell everyone what I did, hoping the tracker would out themselves, or to try to show myself trustworthy to the tracker in some way. If I were really a baddie and sitting on that, I would have to know there is no benefit to keeping it to myself. Logically, the only benefit to keeping it to myself was that I didn't think pack needed me to volunteer the information to make good informed choices and that I would be keeping info that might prompt villagers to kill me.

Basically, I'm saying that if I were a villager with this ability, I would have less to fear from pack, than as a wolf from villagers.
