I actually have been a wolf before, though only once. I think it was the first game I played (it was the Disney game). I wasn't a fan of being a wolf, way too much adrenaline trying to keep my secrets hidden. And I've played a handful of games as a good guy (I've typically had a small role).

Seriously, another villager. 🙁 I'm getting more and more confused. I feel like a "newbie" wolf wouldn't be able to stay hidden this long. Just a thought.

I am going to post my crazy theory now for everyone to chew out and stomp on, but I feel like I should at least mention this....

We have all noticed that the majority of the wolves have been "noobs". This really stands out to me with jdh being so persistent that we try to lynch "good/veteran wolves". Since so far the majority of the wolves have been "noobs" it would make sense for another wolf to want us to agree to a theory that basically has us scrambling around but not getting anywhere... Luckily for us, we did not agree on this.

Now, the only problem I have is that he did give us FTB, but I would not put it past him to throw a wolf under the bus early on to make himself look good and to make his theory not look bad, although it is a risky thing to do. He has basically more or less kind of disappeared since that FTB lynch... he comes around and says a few things and then disappears but doesn't really vote or anything... It just seems odd.

I will probably get my head chewed off for this, but it is just something that I have noticed.

I can also mention that zany was the one who used Santa's List on me and found out that I was "clear".... but it was earlier in the game and I can understand if no one trusts me (I can figure out which night it was on too, if needed). Please, use the list again, use a role, use whatever you can and investigate me... I have nothing to hide. I am still a villager, I have only had Frosty's hat in this game which I used on nohika twice.

I will also mention that while I don't think orca is wolfie, there is always that possibility... so maybe use one method on her one on me... Either way we both need to be investigated. She also did send me a PM asking me if I trust zany because zany had told her that she trusted me. I never had a chance to respond to that PM before zany showed up dead...

All I know is I followed a blinking light into the woods and when I got back to my place it was ransacked.

I was not told specifically I was attacked.

Sure seems like it though.

I feel like I can trust you because I probably would have been killed off by now if you were a wolf. I felt like you and I were talking a lot and leaving out zany so I pm'd her to say hey. She mentioned she was talking to you and she said she trusted you. I wanted to get your feelings before I told her too much.

Please investigate me. I'll tell you I won't come back as a villager, but I'm not a wolf either.
 
One more thing to add....

If you go back and look at some of the wolf voting... there is a LOT of wolf voting for wolf...

hedgie voting for swings
swings voting for trop
swings voting for hedgie

It actually occurs quite a bit.

That would be a rather shrewd move and I'm pleasantly surprised that you would attribute it to me. I'd hope I would play like that if I were a wolf.

I've not been persistent in the notion that we should only lynch veterans. Like I said, and her we ****ing go again . . . I think it's a reasonable way to go EARLY in any game when there is no information. Clearly I haven't said anything more about it in a long, long time.

I don't vote unless I have good information, or a real reason to be suspicious. This is the way I always play the game. There is no rule in WW that you HAVE TO vote for any lynch. I've taken this path after a game a long while back I was accused of being a wolf and lynched for simply having gone with some wild ass lynch votes. I did play around with RNG and I am the one that introduced this concept for wild ass lynch votes, but it also backfire as 1) it's stupid to vote blindly and 2) if you get in the cross-hairs of suspicion and RNG gives you the "wrong" person, no one is going to believe you that it was all "random" - it all quite convenient, no?

I have been clear early in the game. I could have been converted. Though, SOV and devyn can vouch for me game playing and I am active with them by PM.

I wouldn't investigate me because it would be wasting the investigation.

And then there were 10.

I am guessing 3 wolves left based on 5 original and 2 conversions. But who knows, it could just be one.

Also, I am assuming now that jdh was protected last night. I don't know what protected him, but that seems to be what happened since it obviously wasn't SnS being blocked.

What I think is odd about all the wolf kills so far is that they have not been targeting the really active players, except for maybe Lissa and jdh (if that is really what happened). It's confusing.

I don't know about DVMD's theory. Maybe the list will bring some good info by the time the sun comes up on the East coast. Till then I am setting up blocks on almost all internet sites so I can get some serious studying done for finals.

Finally back after like 2 days of not being able to get on SDN. Catching up now...was suprised to see I am still alive after disappearing.

Question: has FH still no pm'd or posted?
 
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who couldn't get SDN to work this morning. And I'm also glad that my grocery shopping didn't end up with me dying in game.

FH hasn't posted as far as I know. Not sure about the pm's. I haven't checked today, but she's been on the forum a decent amount, but not in the game.

I honestly can't remember. I just know everyone keeps saying she's cleared when I vote to lynch her. She is not contributing to the game in general. However, it's highly possible she gets on to pm dyachei who she wants to kill and doesn't post at all so we think she forgot about the game.

I've been cleared and am a villager.

And dang it...I just cleared orca with Santa's List last night. 🙁

lynch FH just can't imagine a villager playing this way. I've racked my brain and can't come up with a good Christmas character that wasn't allowed to talk. The only thing I can imagine is the abominable snowman in Rudolph; he couldn't talk and lost his teeth at the end. :laugh:
 
I'm here but I have no idea on who to lynch. I also have a paper due tonight, so I'm mostly focused on that.
 
Actually, I am going to waffle and say unlynch jdh, lynch Philliab. I had suspicions of her earlier in the game and I know that orca was still suspicious of her too.

You are wasting a lynch vote on my....aka you're just killing another villager (who has been CLEARED). 😎

But other than that and helping the wolves farther toward a win....I actually don't mind. I've got way too much going on right now to pay attention in this game and the stupid Internet issues are making it even harder. So....feel free to bandwagon. I'm just not too worried about it at this point.

Final thoughts..still think the whole FH thing is weird. Should have used the list on her last night instead of wasting it on Orca. And DVMD and SOV are playing way too relaxed this game. No clue what that actually means, but its been very weird to me. That and the whole LIS and DVMD agreeing on things....very scary. :scared:

Everyone has been cleared at this point. We are back to square one... we are now either looking at only conversions left or a conversion and an original that could evade detection. I honestly have no idea... I know who orca was most suspicious of last night (and they are very similar to mine), I have some other suspicions but nothing well founded and as for me being more relaxed... I am almost done with my first semester of school and I am trying to get things together to go home at the end of this week... honestly, my head has not been as much into this game... I am too busy thinking of other things.

Ehhh...like I said...I really don't care about being lynched, but I hate that it helps the wolves in the end. :shrug:

This is going to be my last WW game for good long while anyway. I'm stepping away from SDN indefinitely. Still want to do the Pirates of the Caribbean game with dyachei so I'll probably be back, but I have got other things in life that need my focus. 🙂

I have nothing else to go on at this point and no one else is really around right now, hopefully dyachei will extend the deadline since this has been a dud of a lynch... But, it is nearly 2AM here and I need to get some sleep. I will check back tomorrow and hopefully we will have some more time.

Just want everyone to know that WW is helping me study for Immunology. When cytokines suppress Th1 or Th2 cells, I think of them as blocking. And then I get a gleeful smile and think about all the actions the poor Th cells can't do.

Boo on SDN. I kept on checking this morning but could never get in.

Lynch SDN service outages that last 1/2 a day.

I don't think I am going to be able to get up early enough to vote tomorrow morning.... I am in Princeton and will be here until late (MrsSOV's department holiday party👎sleep🙂. So I am going to throw out a vote now..


First off, I think we have to start qualifying when people have been cleared...

Most recently, I cleared Devyn 2 nights ago.
I know DVMD was investigated last night, but I have not seen the results yet.

To me, everyone is suspect at this point.

While I have a couple of free minutes, I am going to scan through the posts of the remaining living people and see what pops out.

Holding off on my vote until I finish doing that.
 
Here are my thoughts (they are in reverse order of number of posts - just because that is how they are listed.. no meaning behind it);

1) Foxhunter posted twice in the middle of the game so she definitely doesn't have a role that precludes her from posting. She was investigated and came back as a villager, and I just don't see her being converted. If I were a wolf, I would hate to have to deal with someone who was not involved at all. we are not going to get a wolf lynching her.

2) Phil. Has not posted much, but the 2 times she was up for lynch she miraculously had a lot to say. I find that suspicious. Posting pretty much once a day, just enough that no one can lynch her for being too quiet. Near the top of my list.

3) Nohika... I have been ignoring her because we know her role is good. But now that I am going through every player carefully..... the completely trustworthy player is the best conversion. And she has only voted in ONE lynch since she has been resurrected (and that resurrection was a long time ago). Definitely suspicious.

4) Devyn - was cleared 2 nights ago.

5) JDH. We have been mostly pretty open... but I must say, there has been less communication than earlier in the game. I have never really played with him before so I have a hard time figuring him out. I am not sure if I buy his explanation of why he rarely votes in lynches, kind of convenient if he was converted.. Not at the top of my list, but keeping an eye. I haven't PM-ed him yet, so I need to do that.

6) LIS.. said he would be away this weekend and he is in fact absent. I don't know if he has any abilities as mayor, but he hasn't seemed to help us at all. Still, not much to go right now. If he is a wolf, he is doing a good job being non-controversial. We all know he hates to be converted, but that doesn't mean he wasn't.... The biggest suspicion I have, is that he wanted to be mayor because he was un-investigatable... I have always been dying to be a wolf that can't be investigated and be mayor. But kind of like JDH, not at the top of my list.

7) Packen: Earlier in the game JDH and I thought Packen was a wolf, she was investigated and came out clean. Since then she has done nothing to raise my eyebrows. Looking through the recent posts, I just can't find anything to arouse suspicion. If she is a wolf, props to her... She is near the bottom of the list for now.

8) DVMD: She always raises suspicions with me, so I admit I am not good at catching her if she is a wolf - I ALWAYS think she is a wolf. :laugh: Has had her usual number of crazy theories. Results from last night should clear it up for now. Not willing to lynch her without those results. I can wait. I would put her in the middle group.

note: I have omitted FFM, as he is just a temporary holiday helper.
