its scary calling aecom......:scared:. Tell me what they say becuase im really curious. All schools need a status page🙁
 
anyone awake? i was originally gonna say Yes to the question of "I have transferred from one college to another in my undergrad" because i took one of my pre-req series (3 semesters) at a community college during summers an one fall while i went to my 4 yrs university! i didnt transfer from a community college though! so should this be a yes or no?!!
 
nevermind, I stopped ocd-ing over this one! im done here 😀
 
hi everyone. just got an e-mail saying i'm complete at einstein. submitted secondary on 7/5
 
complete email also...but read this...

"We are happy to inform you that your application to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is complete, and will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

If you have applied to the combined M.D./Ph.D. Program, you will be contacted directly by that Office.

If your application is favorably reviewed during a preliminary screening, you will be invited for an interview via email. We would appreciate your not calling the office to ascertain the disposition of your folder."

lol i love aecom 🙂. maybe you shouldnt call fml.😛
 
I submitted mine on 7/2. Maybe I should contact them? But I'm kind of scared to do so.

from the email i posted, i would NOT call then they made it clear not to do so. Id just wait. If you dont hear anything by next week sometime maybe then call. as you always say relax 😛

Got the same email before I had a chance to call... whew!

and yea, blue I would just wait a bit 🙂
 
i agree. a few days won't make that big of a diff
 
i called them simply to ask "have you started sending out secondaries", and lady told me that they hadn't sent out many yet.
 
how do we know when our status is "complete" ?

I applied there more than two weeks ago. I really don't want to call their office, but I guess I have to. :scared:

Same here, I applied a long time ago, but still no word.
 
That's weird because I received everything on 7/2/09 and submitted that night and received the complete confirmation almost immediately after I finished. As far as I know I am complete. :shrug:
 
Hey guys,

Yeah so I'm also a little nervous about the complete email. I got a confirmation email saying I submitted by secondary but no email about my file being complete. Are they sending complete emails around or did I misread other people's posts?

me neither and i sent it in 7/4. i thought it had to do with me checking "no" on whether my letters were being uploaded via amcas letter service, but i called and the woman said no and i was fine.

i gave them a good $120. they better process it correctly!

why the hell aren't they sending me an email? I submitted on 7/2.
 
haha the same thing happened to me in that I forgot to check off that the LOR's were on AMCAS. I also called and the lady she said that was fine but I'm still feeling uneasy about it.
 
ah damn, so complete emails are going around. I really didn't want to call them. Guess I should now. ><
 
So... I submitted my secondary but forgot to upload a photo. Is it possible to upload one still or should I just not worry about it. I'm a little worried because the AECOM website makes it seem like it is necessary.

so is it normal that i still have not been invited to secondary? verified on july 9th, but i don't know why it's taking so long.
 
Primary: 6/26/09
Secondary Rec'd: 7/2/09
Secondary Sent: 7/3/09
Complete: 7/21/09

I haven't received a complete email either. My primary was verified on 6/4, secondary received on 7/2 and secondary submitted on 7/3, still no news 🙁

I didn't upload my picture to their secondary until after I submitted it. I called about it and they said I would need to mail in a picture, but I received a complete email without mailing anything. Do you think they ended up pulling my picture from the secondary after submitting or do I still need to mail one?

oof, i did the same thing, maybe that's why i haven't gotten the complete email (?)

Wait I'm confused, I checked no to the question that asked if your letters were being uploaded through the amcas letter writer service b/c my school uploads them through virtualevals. Should I have picked yes?
 
wow the people who answer the phone are so damn rude and mean, its like aecoms mission statement, lol. Anyways so apparently, if you did not upload a photo before you submitted you can do nothing about it and you are basically auto-rejected. I guess good thing FAP paid my waiver here what a waste of time, serious this ranks up there with RFU in most ridiculous schools. They lady was so mean and rude ugh. Its a huge deal i guess to aecom that no photo was uploaded and you cant even mail one in apparently, but serious i didnt even see the stupid photo upload...w/e-_-

Edit: Ok so i looked at the post above with someone who called the office and they said you can mail it...why the hell did this lady tell me i cant and be so mean.
