Just got an interview invite a few hours ago! My first one!

congrats on all the interview invites 🙂

anyone complete after the 29th?!

complete on 31st and still no news. Fingers crossed for early next week!

Wait, so Einstein waits till january to give out acceptances?!!!

complete on 7/29 and no news. I wish Einstein shows me some love.

don't worry, complete 7/16 here and no news 🙁

man, this whole people-who-were-complete-after-me-getting-interview-invites thing is really getting old... wish I could get some love from these kinda schools

Is there anyone that could shed some light about Einstein? I don't know much about the school and have an interview there. It's one of those schools you know is there and is good but its not a "famous" school like NYU, Baylor, Vandy, etc.

I understand EXACTLY how you are feeling. Despite good stats, decent essays and EC's and early submission all I have right now is one rejection and no invites. =(

i know how u feel. the process of waiting and seeing everyone else get interviews (not to mention multiple interviews) is really disheartening but just know that you are definitely not alone =). let's keep our fingers crossed!!

Right there with you guys. I basically felt like a bag of crap yesterday when I saw these invites come out. We have to try and stay positive though cuz this is a LONG process. Good news will come.

I'm glad at least some people can empathize....
Good luck to all of us!:luck::xf:

I wish the admission people kept working over the weekend!! lol:laugh:

I want to interview at the Manhattan location because it's more convenient for me. Do you guys think it might be a disadvantage if I don't interview at Bronx? Maybe say that I'll do the lunch/tour thing at another time?

Just wondering.. For those who got interview invites, are you guys IS or OOS?

A good idea would be for people who take time to post on here that they got invites to also write down when they were complete, IS or OOS, and some basic stats like MCAT/GPA if they don't mind revealing.

complete on 7/29, OOS, 3.82 cGPA, 3.94 sGPA, 32 mcat

It's only the first batch of interviews. Keep holding out. I'm sure you'll get some love soon enough!

Would I be at any disadvantage interviewing in mid-late October vs September? Does your interview date even matter since they don't give acceptances till mid January?

I honestly don't know. I was wondering the same thing. I ended up just emailing asking for early dates and am hoping the situation works itself out...

As per the MSTP, does anyone think it matters picking Lab Rsch vs. Clinical Rsch? I've done both but more lab during college.

Also, they ask for MCAT scores but I took mine on 7/30 and don't know them yet. There doesn't seem to be a "check later" option.
What do I do? Any other Einstein MSTP'ers?

Believe me, I can. This is my second year of going through all this...

Hey guys. I am heading to AECOM this year, and yes, the first acceptances don't come out until mid January. Also, even after mid January, it took a long time for most people to hear anything after their interviews. I interviewed Jan 5th and received my acceptance letter exactly 2 months later... and I heard from a lot of other anxious applicants who waited for their decisions even longer that that. Anyway good luck and don't let the process get you down!

i was complete here 7/16 and would love to go, and got nothing. hopefully this week will bring interview invites...

I wish the admission people kept working over the weekend!! lol:laugh:

i knoooo i cant believe i dont look forward to wknds anymore

For those of you that received interview invites has anyone heard back to set a interview day? (I sent them an email on Friday and
I can't see it in my outbox so I'm kinda paranoid lol)

Send out Saturday morning. No response yet. Wouldn't worry too much, it's Monday and I'm sure they're just getting a lot of emails and making complicated schedules based on availability.

Just got confirmation of my interview schedule. 9/15 @ 10 AM

Edit: Are you guys going to go for a hotel or try and stay with a student? The info doesn't make it seem like either one is preferred? Just wanted to see what the general consensus was.

I got conformation yday (mon) for my interview on September 10th =X. I'm just a bit nervous. I'm going to fly in late evening on Wednesday, stay with a friend (not a student at einstein), go to the interview on Thursday and fly out that night.

i am deciding on my final LOR and i had a quick question:

what has more weight? a LOR from a doctor you've shadowed for a while...or a college professor you took a class with a did well in?

already have a few from professors i took classes with. i guess the doc one would add variety but does it carry less weight?

whichever person knows you better/can write beyond the standard letter would be the better LOR.

For those of you who have received interview invites, which hotel is close to the Bronx interview location?

Hopefully this will be my second interview invite...

4 rejections/ 1 interview so far

Does anyone know how do we check our application status for AECOM? Does the school just send you an email when you are complete/when you are invited for interview? I submitted my secondary recently and when I logged back in, I only see my secondary application and no status page.

I am also interested in the answer to this question. Can anybody clarify?

Yeah, it takes a while (like, A WHILE) but they eventually send it to you. I never bugged them or anything and they told me I was complete like 2 weeks after they got my LoR's.

that's a freaking awesome avatar.
