interesting question. Mine was sent at 9:07am.

Saw the email when I woke up!! Celebrated by buying "Empire State of Mind" on iTunes - count on me listening to this at an obnoxiously volume all day :laugh:

9:07 as well. Got it on my phone when I was walking to work this morning. Pleasant surprise to take my mind off the cold 🙂

Double Woot! I'm in too. Just went on line an bought myself a hoodie. Hurry folks, they are going fast. Oh, and I interviewed on the first day of interviews....Anyone else from Maryland?

I didn't get an email and my status page still says "Final Decision Pending."

Can the people with emails share what their status page says?

It says Accepted with a link to pay the $100 deposit.
 
What the latest those of you who were accepted interviewed? Do you think maybe an 11/30 interview is too late to be accepted this early?

I'd say judging that most people here seemed to interview in October that you might be included in the March review.
 
Do you guys think that if I interviewed late in october and did not get an acceptance today, that means I will not get in?
 
Someone posted earlier in this thread that they were told 12/2 would be notified today. I interviewed on 12/8. In some ways I would love to know my decision today but I also haven't gotten a chance to send a letter to the school which I would like to do before my review...
 
Accepted this morning as well via emai!!! Also sent at 9:07 AM haha wierd. I interviewed 10/27

Accepted this morning. Was at my Harvard interview when i got this. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!
 
My inbox read "Gmail - Inbox(1)" this morning. The email was not from NYU. FML.

I interviewed in mid-Nov so for the rest of us, maybe we can hope for something today or early next week. :luck:
 
Congrats to everyone who got accepted!! so for the rest of the people who interviewed in December will they mostly hear back in March?
 
Have any November dates heard back yet? I interviewed the second week of November...I'm curious if they will send more emails out later...

Now I have a genuine dilemma, a choice between 2 great med schools.

I interviewed in mid-November and my status is still Final Decision Pending. Maybe we're not being reviewed this time?
 
Damn...interviewed 11/16, no word. The batch e-mails and that 11/10 acceptance aren't too encouraging. From what I remember, on my interview day we were told by our tour guides that our group would be included in the pre-Christmas acceptances. I'm still "Final Decision Pending" also, and I can't even begin to imagine waiting till March...I'm too in love with this place 🙁

For those of you who (like me) were not accepted today, don't worry so much. I called just now, and the admissions officer said that there would be waves of acceptances until March. She didn't know when the next one would be, so I doubt that it's anytime soon. BUT this means that there's always a chance that we'll hear before March. Here's hoping.

Thanks for that! Makes me feel slightly better.

Last year looks like they sent them out 2 days in a row in december, but that there was not really any rhyme or reason to the date of acceptance based on interview date
 
Accepted as well. Another 11/10 interviewee
Email came at 6:07am... but I'm in CA so I guess I'll chalk it up to 9:07am East coast lol

didn't expect this because they said we wouldn't be hearing till feb when I wen to the interview....

Wow, thanks for that bit of info! Definitely makes this a bit easier to handle. It seems there haven't been any acceptances post-11/10, so hopefully us mid/late-November kids are safe for now...:xf:

LOL me too! This morning I got an St. Louis University invite. Invites always make me happy, but it would have been even nicer to have an acceptance!!

I interviewed mid november too. Wish everyone could know by the december. Don't think I could wait till march.

May I ask which ones? If I get accepted to NYU I will have the same dilemma. Of course if I don't...

i have 5 acceptances with one more school to hear from post-interview, but my decision will come down to NYU and UVA no matter what else I hear from other schools. I am instate for UVA, so it should cost less, a big factor. But I really intend to find out a lot more about the clinical years at both schools.

Anybody know how much of the clinical stuff is actually done at Bellevue? All of it, or is it limited? Where else do the MS 3/4s do clinicals?
