Just got the email a few minutes ago (interviewed 9/15). I'm waitlisted! At least there is still hope!!! 😛

Ditto. Interviewed 9/15 just got the email that I am Waitlisted. I'm a little bummed but WHATEVER! There is hope!

not to be a creepster or anything, but didn't you say you interviewed 9/29?
 
Did it say in the email whether that means you won't hear anything until May-June when they make the waitlist? Because that would be an awful long wait...

Lol youre right, I confused this with Syracuse. Yea I was 9/29. My badd! that is kinda creepy though! big brother is watching!

The email says you wont know your place on the list until they finish interviewing, so yea basically a hell of a long time from now.

haha. not trying to be big brother...just being a slightly obsessive UCD-enthusiast, trying to figure out when I should be expecting my rejection/waitlist email

Don't want to sound stalker ish, but I haven't read through this thread in a while. I thought you were with us in Irvine on 9/23?
 
Anybody hear anything that interviewed in early Oct.? I read that some Sept. interviewers heard back sooner than 6-8 weeks... just wondering if anyone in this group has as well. I talked with admissions staff and all I got were some ambiguous non-committal answers... "Those applicants that a decision have been made have been notified." She refused to address any timeline questions...

I'm in the same boat.. its been nearly a month. Starting to get really nervous :xf:
 
I interviewed in early October, I have yet to hear anything too...I'm curious if anyone has been rejected post-interview yet

Yah I was i was at davis on 9/25 i just mix up the dates. It all blurs together after a while lol
 
Does anyone know if Davis would allow you to move up your interview date in the rare event that a student cancels their interview? I got an invite 10/28 and scheduled for Feb 10, the first available day. But seeing as I go to Berkeley and have a car, I could probably make an interview in Sacramento on 2 hours notice.

Is it worth a call to the Admissions Office?

hey i interviewed at davis with you. we talked outside the room before the group interview. I had an idea that it was you but then you said you interviewed on 9/23 and it through me off.

I think you're argument is valid. but maybe it may be better to e-mail so that they have it on record to remember in case a cancellation happens.

this might have been answered, but if davis has not really given any indication since i submitted secondary should it be wise to follow-up with an email or call asking about status or just wait?
 
Wow! Lots of action here. Congrats to all of the acceptances, and sorry to those that are getting the rejections.

So, a 10/7'er has already got an acceptance. That means maybe 10/22'ers are up soon? A one month turnaround for some? 👍

I doubt that's the case based on how things have been going so far. Those of us in that time frame who have not got the call are probably just waiting for the rejecton/wl email.
 
Seriously Davis... for the love!

I have to buy tickets soon and despite the fact I feel blessed to have a pending interview, I would love to save some money 🙁

When I talked with Ed on the phone he said I should be getting an email with a list of things I need to do to reserve my spot. Just curious to see how long it took you guys to get it. Thanks 🙂

Question: Did anyone else who was placed on the waitlist get a follow up email about how to reserve our spot on the list? I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in my WL email that a follow up email would be sent, but I don't know if I somehow didn't get it or they just didn't send it?

me i was on 9/25 i assume that anyone who hasnt heard back from sept is waiting on waitlist or a rejection...doesnt seem too good
 
For all you September people, didn't they say it would be kosher to call after 8 weeks? I plan on calling when my 8 weeks are up...
 
I wish this school would just reject me already jeez. 😛
