I was complete mid-October (also OOS) and got an interview invite last week or so.
Keep hope alive.
Congrats!
Out of curiosity, what interview date/s were you offered?

Has anyone on hold tried to send in an update lately? I remember there was a link for updates on the status page but now it's gone.
I was told the earliest available date was mid-March, though I haven't received final confirmation for a particular date.Congrats!

Doc love were you on hold before you got the interview? Congrats btw!I was told the earliest available date was mid-March, though I haven't received final confirmation for a particular date.
No. I submitted my secondary mid-October and didn't hear anything back until mid-January about an interview invite.Doc love were you on hold before you got the interview? Congrats btw!
Also, anyone on hold for re review hear back?
Strange... my status changed to "final decision letter sent" months ago. but i never got a rejection letter in the mail. i guess they didn't want to waste a stamp.
Are you sure you posted on the right thread? I am pretty sure they reject by emails.
Has anyone been invited after being on re-review?
I was put on hold in October. Got an invite in December for an interview a week later. Got waitlisted in January.
The director of admissions stated on my interview day and again on the phone to me multiple times that they do not consider any additional information on your application after you have gone in for an interview, so I'm not sure where you are getting this.
Since I was waitlisted I asked the admin assistant if I could send in updates and she said that would be appropriate. I think it makes sense that they would not accept materials directly after the interview but since the waitlist is basically a free pool, I think it would benefit any of us to try to stand out. The way I see it, the worst thing they can do is not read my update letter.
I sent my AMCAS back in July.. and still haven't received any word whether I'm going to get a secondary. So I broke down and finally called.. the lady told me I won't be getting a secondary and that they're going to send the notifications in a few weeks.
I figured I wasn't going to get a secondary lol... but I just wanted to know one way or the other.
I hate to ask but do any of us with Interviews in early march even have a chance at an acceptance or is the class full by this time?
Physicians who do interviews are busy, busy people who would not waste their time interviewing us if there was no chance we'd get it.
People with March interviews (and I'm one of the last, I'm sure!) still have a shot. Maybe not quite as good as people who go early, but a shot nonetheless.
This question as been asked in the past, but does anyone know what's happening with the re-reviews? We're almost at the end of Jan. I emailed them about it, but havent heard back. In a week I might call them. The suspense is killing me.

hopeful indeed
Hey so the suspense actually killed me and I called them last week, they said the earliest feedback we will hear from them will be in first week of February.

I just got rejected for MSTP, but the email also solicited a response for whether I wanted to still be considered for MD-only. The email said, "A common question I get is whether or not being later in the process will hurt your chances of being accepted..I can assure you that your are NOT at any disadvantage in the MD only process."

In that case then, I agree with you. Do you think we should wait until near May to write an update? I think if we did it that way the update would be "fresher" in their minds.
I just got an email this morning announcing that I'm swimming in the "acceptable pool." Interviewed 1/25. Time to pen that update letter aka "why do you have to play with my heart like this"
Invite for interview after re-review, scheduled for March 31st.
I'm really excited, but I can't help the voice in the back of my head asking if March 31st affords a real potential to an offer of admission. Anything can happen, but I feel like it's the last day to interview!

Withdrew today; couldn't justify the trip out there with UMich in-state tuition...Hopefully the interview slot goes to one of you!

*sigh*
Interviewed 1/25 as well and no email 🙄
With my luck this probably means another week of waiting to be put in the acceptable pool.
