E-mailed admission. They took care of it same day.
 
Does anyone know what to do, if you have assigned more than two LORs, but they only let you name two letter writers on the secondary? Do you just pick two and name them?

I know, I submitted 3. But on their secondary application, they told us to name letter writer 1 and letter writer 2. So which two do you name if you have more than two?

Well they have the 2 faculty writers, then you can add additional letters. So just make one of them an additional.
 
Does anyone know if a passport picture meets the specifications of 125 by 160 pixels. I took a passport picture at cvs and uploaded it. It seems fine but I don't know how it will look when printed.
 
Whats going on over there? I submitted 6/30 and still haven't gotten the complete email.
 
Just got my completion email, I submitted on July 7th.
 
I feel like my application was trashed or got lost. I submitted secondary on 6/30

That's how I feel about my secondary to another school. Let's try not to feel like this.

I contacted this school today based on people in this thread saying they got an email with a "submit" link after paying. (I submitted payment on 7/11 and never received such an email.) Turns out my app was bugged in some way and I need to email [email protected] and ask them to reopen it so I can submit it. I did, and appears the owner of that address is out of the office until next Thursday.

People with the same problem might want to also send an email to that address.

Quick question for you early-birds who have submitted this secondary: Did all the writing prompts say 100 words max? I'm a career changer, so I'd like more space to answer a few of the questions, otherwise I'm going to have to use some kind of shorthand.

Yes, the response boxes counts characters/words for you and I believe it locks you at 100.
 
Does anyone know if their lab requirement is credit hours or number of labs? I have a 2 credit bio lab but it was only 1 lab... not sure if I need to take another lab/ need to write that on my secondary. The 2 credit lab covered subjects from both intro bio courses...

There's no email confirmation that you successfully submitted the secondary right? All I have is a message on the application screen: Thank You! You have successfully completed the Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Secondary Application.

and a link for a printable copy of the app. Is that all people had (plus an email indicating payment) before they received complete emails?

I recieved an email after my submission that stated:
You have successfully completed the Secondary Application.
Thank you for your interest in Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Follow the link below to view a printable version of your application.

And another email:
This is an automated message to inform you that your payment has been completed successfully. Payment details are listed below. Please note that all payments are subject to approval and final verification.

Weird, I only got the second one you listed about the payment. However, when I log in, it says:
Your payment was updated successfully | Friday, June 29, 2012 @ 5:22:11 PM
Thank You! You have successfully completed the Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Secondary Application.

but I never got the first email about successfully completing the secondary. You think it's worth an email? And if so, have people emailed the gwendolynn middlebrooks address or the admissions@einstein address? Thanks.


PS: I know that my overall application isn't "complete" yet because I'm still waiting on my committee to release my letter, I'm only referring to the initial indication of the secondary application being completed.

My committee letter has also yet to be recieved. It looks like you're good but if an email to admissions would ease your mind, it certainly couldn't hurt.

Same thing happened to me. I would not worry about it. Three weeks later I got the complete email from Einstein.

So no secondary complete email, but an application complete and ready for consideration email?
 
I just got the secondary complete email. Submitted 7/7

Yeah...The email header said COMPLETED APPLICATION and stated that it will be reviewed by the admission committee.
 
No complete email here...submitted 6/29. Should I shoot over an email?
 
Oops looks like I misfiled their email. Submitted 6/29 and complete 7/10. I emailed them and they were like uh...we sent it out...
 
submitted all relevant stuff a week ago
on the complete boat today!
guess the real wait begins now 🙄
 
Any Canadian or international student not know what to put in the US address boxes? It won't let me continue without. Also, for VISA, did you put none? or what you will obtain? Can't really get a visa without an acceptance right?
 
How long until I get the "Instructions for New Applicants" email? I got the
"EINSTEIN - APPLICATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT" e-mail five days ago and want to get this thing started!
 
That's the only email they sent me. In the application acknowledgement email it says to follow the hyperlink to start the application so that's what I ended up doing.
 
Complete email today! Secondary submitted 6/29, letters arrived at AMCAS today (YES!), so that was fast! 🙂
 
I called the office and they said I was complete 7/17, and they sent an email.

But I can't find it anywhere in my inbox, and there is no spam folder to check.

Should I call and ask them to re-send it? I have no clue if I am receiving their emails or not.
