Interview is super laid back and straight forward. I was nervous at the beginning of the day, but the admissions people really did a good job of getting you to calm down and be confident about the whole thing. Very good impression overall. Georgetown definitely jumped up on my list.

Yep. There were only 10 of us so we all got to know each other. I highly recommend going to the optional breakfast and lecture before the tour begins. This gave a few of us an opportunity to have easy conversation and get comfortable. The students that interacted with our group directly were all very friendly and the students we saw around campus seemed happy and talkative. A presentation by an admissions representative really sold the school and like AiyaTuc said - Georgetown definitely jumped higher on my list, as well.
This makes me really excited to be there in a few weeks. Hope to see some of you on November 1st!
how long is it reasonable to wait before sending a letter of interest? do you ever send one before being offered an interview? really love this school!
That's great to hear! I got my dates a little backwards, my interview is today ( in like an hour, eek!)

Ohhh these are my exact stats :/ and I was complete in July. I'm nervous now!!
All teh hotel seemed pretty expensive, I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Rosslyn because its right off of the Blue line Metro coming from DCA (Reagan) airport and the GUTS Shuttle comes there.
Not that I mattered, cause I got on the wrong bus in the morning and had to walk a ways. But took the GUTS shuttle back and it was super easy!
How were you all notified of your rejections/did your status change??
I was notified via email that the ad com came to a decision about my application
. Knew it was downhill from there.Tired of no one responding to this so I just logged in to check... rejection via status page with a letter dated 9/4. I'm sure they'll send out emails as well.

Exactly. Then it tells you to log in. When you go to your status, there is a rejection letter (PDF maybe?) to click on and view.
No worries - there is so much more that goes into the process.
I'm not disappointed in this one particularly, but considering my rejections are already approaching my number of invites, I'm starting to worry! This is especially since I haven't heard good news since 8/22...but have had 3 rejections in the last 8 days.
Also rejected via status page. Not surprised, but still disappointed. Good luck to everyone still in the running.

Mine still says "Application Status: Completed on 7/27/2012" - I guess I'm still in the running for an interview? Not sure why they're keeping me in limbo, strange!

Is the status everyone is looking at just the one that says "Application Status" on the page that appears immediately after you login?
