For those who get the coveted acceptance call tomorrow, could you also post the date that you interviewed? I interviewed late September so I highly doubt I will hear anything this week, but I'd like to get an idea of how long they take to make decisions.

I think Interview days are only on fridays right? I haven't heard anything on my end either, but I looked through last years thread and it seemed the acceptances that came out on the 16th came later in the day, so maybe thats the case. guess we'll find out soon enough
 
I remember hearing that interview days are Tuesdays and Fridays.
 
Please oh please tell them to call me! Congrats! Excellent school!
 
I interviewed September 21st!! Haven't checked the portal yet.

The day is not over yet!

And I think phone calls will be going out over the week. That's my guess at least. I don't know how many they accept the first round, but I would think it could be time-consuming to try to call everyone in one day, so it'll probably be spread out.
 
From OUWB Twitter: "Started making phone calls after lunch. So much fun! For my SDNers, the calls aren't in order of interview dates. Random."

OMG they read SDN! 😀 Accept me please! OUWB is definitely my first choice after interviewing there!

what happens if you can't answer your phone? I'm at work and do not have service.. haha freak out mode!
 
It's an unbelievably amazing school! Good luck to everyone 😀 I can't wait to meet some of my future classmates!
 
Someone should tweet OUWB and ask them how many calls they're making today...lol.

I believe they will leave a message and they'll also follow up with a letter and email. No worries they'll find a way to reach you!

Just accepted via phone. You get an email afterwards. There is also an obvious portal update that happens after the call. Which allows you to accept or decline the acceptance. 🙂 bet of luck friends.

Oh they read Sdn? That's awesome lol. I'm just praying for an acceptance I really really loved the school!

Updated twitter post: "Adcom meets tomorrow. Have many apps to review 9/14 forward. Have discussed some 9/14 and 9/21 but not all. More invites tomorrow."

Does that mean that offers are done for the day?

Should we expect them to be finished with all interviewees up to 9/14? Or is it random like they said? Or do they mean the calls are random (not in order)?

Hopefully by tomorrow they finish 9/14 and 9/21 tomorrow and move on to 9/28 too.

By the sound of the tweet, they have sent their initial offers for those that have interviewed up until 9/14. We're still in the pool if you interviewed before 9/14, but we didn't get one of the initial offers.

I see. I'm 9/28 so I hope I'm in one of the initial offers.

Did any of the accepted applicants send in a letter of interest before hearing back? I don't want to sound pushy, but I don't want to hurt my chances by not sending one in.

Yea I think they've reviewed up until 9/14, and made some of their initial offers today. I think they will continue reviewing tomorrow from 9/14 and after, and offer more acceptances (whether they are offering to people past 9/14 or still from the pool of all applicants I'm not sure- but I'm hoping its the latter..). But I think the "random" order was meant in terms of the phone calls. They probably review applicants based on the day they interview, but offer acceptances randomly and out of order of interview days. Well...here's hoping for tomorrow I guess

I did not send a letter, if I recall correctly they said that letters don't really play a role until the end of the cycle but I may be mistaken. I don't think it would necessarily "hurt" your chances if you send one though.

What does that mean if you interviewed before 9/14 and haven't gotten a call? Long term waiting?
 
They said if you initially don't get an offer but you aren't rejected, they'll te-review your file at every meeting.

Also, does anyone know if the committee also met in September (3 review dates so far) or did they only start meeting in October (only 1 review date so far)?
 
Interviewed on 9/7 and did not hear anything today, so disappointed right now. I know the twitter feed says that they re-review all interviewees each time they give out acceptances, does anyone know how often they do this? Thanks much.

The committee meets during the first, third, and fifth wednesdays of each month. So they will be meeting again tomorrow, then again on the 31st.
 
Got the call today around 3 🙂 So happy!! I interviewed on 8/24. Good luck everyone!
