I wonder if my SDN posts had any bearing on my rejection...but I also didn't do a spectacular job with my 1 on 1 interview and that has a lot of weight.

I have wondered this as well, and had several well-meaning friends suggest to me that my online participation here may have hurt my application chances. I'm not sure I agree, but anything is possible.

Same! I'm going to wait until after work, don't really want to become a crying mess at work. My stomach is in knots though

I wish I hadn't checked and seen my results while at the office a month ago. Even after a long walk around the parking lot I still looked like a blotchy mess for the rest of the afternoon.

Rejected... Damn, well looks like it's time to fill out the AMCAS again and see anyone else who gets rejected on here next year. Good luck guys

Just a bummer to wait 7 months for a decision that ends up being a rejection.

Ouch. As much as my insta-rejections stung, in many ways I'm grateful they just went for the clean kill 2 years out of 3.

No email but my portal just got updated. Alternate #50. Not sure how I feel about that.

Hmmph. I think it's very hopeful, but certainly not as comfortable as having a lower number. Let's hope for good waitlist movement!
