Came here to ask the same thing. I interviewed on 12/03, haven’t received an answer so expected the worst with those emails.

I am on the WL since 11/21 but didn't receive that email today. However, HPSP emails have been rolling in since I registered for the MCAT as someone mentioned above so I would not try to interpret it as anything.

I got waitlisted in october. How much movement is there really? I looked at MSAR and according to that half of the people on the WL come off the waitlist. It says 175-200 get waitlisted and 100 accepted on WL. Anyone get off the WL?

Movement (if any) should start slowly around March 15th, and ramp up around April 30th with the most occurring from Late April to Late May.

people on the waitlist are ranked on a scale with numbers of 1-15 if i remember correctly. It depends on how competitive you are and how many people decline their offers. it’s about 1/2 and 1/2 chance i’m pretty sure. Some people don’t get off the waitlist at all but a lot of folks do. also some years there’s little movement. some years there’s a lot.

Waiting for remedials to be reviewed, then have to start a waiver. I am aware of the WL ranking system, and I've also heard that those who are medically cleared come off the WL before those who are not. Can anyone provide clarity regarding this medical clearance deadline?

Thank you so much; this is news to me. So from this, I gather that if you are not medically cleared by March 15th, you cannot be offered a seat, but you can remain on the WL for a possible offer once you are cleared. Correct?

I have lurked through USUHS cycle threads on here from previous years. I've seen a bunch of "conditional" acceptance offers granted from the WL after the March 15th deadline. I guess I just assumed they were conditional because the applicant wasn't yet medically cleared.

My understanding is that everyone is offered a conditional acceptance first. I agree with everything you pointed out, I think that’s the process starting from march 15th
