how long did it take for you to get your acceptance after your interview? did they admissions office call or email you?
 
This thread is dead so I'm asking this question again. How long did it take for people to get the news that they were accepted after their interview and was it by email, phone call or snail mail? Thanks for your help.
 
Anyone recieve any news this week? From previous posts I was guessing decisions would be coming out this past Tuesday (11/6). Anyone that was rejected or waitlisted, did you also recieve an email saying so? Thanks
 
Just got an e-mail today - interviewed 10/22 - acceptance!
 
I'm still waiting. I really want Toledo as I am from SE Michigan but I have no clue what my chances are. OOS 29 MCAT, 3.3 GPA from UMich. Thoughts?

I'm from UMich as well 🙂 I think that your chances (and mine) probably depend more on activities and the strength of LORs because our stats are so borderline.

Don't know if you have the MSAR, but it is sort of useful to see where one falls. The average cGPA is 3.73 (10th-90th percentile is 3.36-3.96) and and sGPA is 3.67 (3.2-3.97). The average MCAT is a 31 (27-35). Also according to UToledo's website, they accept about 1/3 OOS students.

Based on this, you may have a chance depending on the rest of your application. Best of luck! 🙂

I was invited to interview on October 8th and there were two dates available in late october, and virtually all of november was full. I know that was a month ago, so my best guess would be they are scheduling for early-mid december now

Make that three UMich-ers! I'm from Toledo, have GPA/MCAT a few ticks higher, and my dad went to Toledo (MCO at the time). Sadly everyone I talk to says Toledo doesn't really care about legacy status. I've been complete since 8/13, so hopefully I'll (and you!) hear back soon.

I'm OOS and waiting back to hear as well. Their website says that interviews generally run from Sept to April so still plenty of time. Does anyone know if UToledo sends rejections during the cycle or do they wait until the end?
 
Interviewed this week, primary and secondary submitted mid october
 
any recent IIs? when were you complete/what are your stats?

Seriouslyyyyyy. Early August here. Just reject me and get it over with :bang:
 
I'm confused by the secondary question. I research cultural competence on UT and it seemed to be very complicated. This is the website (http://www.utoledo.edu/offices/oid/competence.html)
and it talks about how it is complicated and difficult to discuss and mechanisms. I would prefer to just talk about my experiences with different cultures but I don't want to not answer the questions. Can someone who has gotten an interview shed some light for me on how they answered the question?
 
OOS received interview invite just this morning. Nothing spectacular about my stats if you care to know. Hold on guys, yours is coming. From the email, it said that they interview through to April. I was not expecting this.

It was emailed this morning. Nothing spectacular about stats (just to keep my self anonymous). I will let you know after my interview. Hold on, your interview invite is coming.
 
Hey Jmart,

I hope this is not too late but to try to answer your question, I just wrote about a personal experience dealing with people from different backgrounds as a part of a school organization. I discussed some of the things that I learned from my time with them and how it helped me grow as a person. The space you are given is not a lot so keep this in mind (I had to really cut down on most of what I had written). If you have any other questions, just pm me. Good luck to you!
 
Finally heard back! August secondary, IS, 32, 3.77, interview this month. There's hope!
 
II. Complete since first week in September. OOS, 31Q, 3.92. I think they really do interview through April, don't give up!

Pretty sure you can't...there's definitely not a way to do it online. They send you email updates when your status changes. You might be able to call and find out where you stand right now? But I'm not sure...
