Anyone else get a call from MW? Still waiting...
 
Im just going to put it out there. Did anyone hear from Dr. Donald Quest? Im just curious. Hope nobody gives a false answer to this or trolls. Just trying to go to med school here. Lol but seriously congrats to those who r in any med school

I think there is a good chance, definitely. A lot of interviewers don't call, and there may be more calls tonight or tomorrow. And there is still hope that even some people whose interviewers have been making calls just haven't gotten them yet, or that they won't be made at all. Last year there were a few reports of accepted students finding out via the portal, even though others had reported calls from their interviewers.

It's been a high anxiety day, to say the least! Columbia's process is well-intended but not ideal for those of us (like me) who can't stand simply not knowing.

Sincerest congrats to those already accepted - so exciting! And to those still in limbo, it's not over yet. Here's to a few more calls tonight and tomorrow, and some solid WL movement in may!
 
I left my phone charger at my GFs so I just checked my VM. He called very early. Around 9 AM
 
Good luck to everyone! Don't give up hope! Hopefully they'll update the portal for everyone today/tomorrow.

when was your interview?

im really hoping the deans are perhaps starting to call some people despite who their interviewer was in chronological order....one can hope!! 🙁
 
Has anybody heard from AR yet? Or did anyone interview with AR that has received a call from somebody else?

Still waiting for someone to hear from CW, though I doubt that she'll call any of her interviewees lol.

My interview was on Dec. 16th and I received a call around 1:30 eastern time

Looks like my interviewer doesn't call people either. Holding out hope for tomorrow!

I really wish that if they would call people, that they would call of their accepted students and not just some of them. It would make more sense to just send out emails today instead of making the rest of us wait.

Does anyone have a prediction as to when decisions will be up on the portal? tonight? tomorrow? Saturday?

The Dean told me that emails come out tomorrow, so probably tomorrow...
 
Accepted! I'm so happy call from Dr. Hutcherson around 6:30 eastern time.... i really can't believe it anybody who got a call from her can u confirm if she was a 914-319-xxxx number?
 
For the people who the Dean called, but who didn't interview with him: could you say who you did interview with? Thank you and congratulations!
