+1, got it about two months ago and a professor of mine did some research I'm very interested in at Duke. I'm hoping these are all good karmic signs! Duke is my top choice no doubt...

ME TOO YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buzzfeed is the future fortune teller. HA. I also may or may not have written about "my future" in 5th grade and said that I imagined I would live in North Carolina (except that I thought I'd be a chemist haha).

[cinnamoncoffee]

Soo...who here is ready to freak out?

[DChef]

Ready to watch the decisions roll in on here either tmrrw or Monday

Sure hope it's tomorrow, I can't afford another 3 days of sleeplessness lol

[fbtkdrbs]

my heart just dropped.... oh then I realized that it was just us freaking out.

[cinnamoncoffee]

How cruel would it be to accept some people tomorrow and some on monday..."I split up decisions over a few days and everyone loses their minds!"

not going to think about that.

[Nefertiti63]

I think I'm gonna be sick

[Innocuous]

Good luck everybody! Here's to breaking my streak of 5 waitlists...

Amen to that

[Nefertiti63]

So nervous about decisions coming out soon; it would be my first acceptance. I know I don't realistically have much of a chance compared to all you superstars, but one can dream right? Best of luck to everyone!

if anything, you're in the same boat as me and as @Innocuous so don't fret! stay positive 🙂

[Anonymous1991]

Amen to that

Count me in for team WL streak!

haha, sometimes I think adcoms enjoy torturing us...but hearing the Dean and RW speak about Duke restored my faith in this whole crazy admissions process. I left Duke thinking "hah there is no way I am getting in here," but I am so glad I attended the interview. RW's speech was like a pep talk for starting medical school, wherever I go.

Good luck everybody!

[cinnamoncoffee]

?

Do you guys think decisions will go out all at once since there aren't phone calls and do you think it'll be early in the morning or later in the day. I guess they could be distributed throughout the day also ahhh! What do you guys think?

[EmpathMan]

Really hope I don't have to wait another few days!!!

@cinnamoncoffee They weren't sent out all at once according to last year's thread (I think)

Yeah but they were still calling last year too weren't they? This year it says on the portal that there will be no phone calls...

Oooh, I didn't realize that. And did they go in alphabetical order last year or no?

Evidently no :S

[Nefertiti63]

For reference regarding phone calls last year and what it said on the portal for them.

I wonder if rejections/waitlists are coming out tomorrow too. Last year they did them the day after but if they send out acceptances tomorrow(a friday obviously) then when will they send out rejections and stuff?

you are causing mass panic o___O ASK????

you are causing mass panic o___O ASK????

um, I forgot to mention these aren't people I am exactly close with. just facebook friends. Asking would be too creepy and weird seeing as how we never talk otherwise. We could assume it's another med school, which is very likely.

[Anonymous1991]

This will either ruin, or make my weekend ...

[Ambitionista]

I'm curious as to what time the decisions will be released...they started as early as 7am last year...
