Are we separately notified once we're complete? Or are we just "considered" complete once all of our app materials are in?

Rejected 🙁 Goodluck to everyone else!!
Yes, for me it took about 1 days for the payment information to be updated and the secondary to be declared complete. I did worry about that, too 🙂hmm i just submitted me secondary and paid and on the home page neither of those images are colored in. does it take some time to update?
hey guys,
I received a secondary (since they send it out to everyone). But my stats aren't that impressive 31 on the mcat (12/8/11) and a 4.0 GPA. That 8 on VR is mainly is because English isn;t my first language. Ive been exposed to English for a little over 5 years. But that said I have great LOR, PS, and ECs. Do I have a chance here looking at my stats? Should I even fill out the secondary?
If you have the money it never hurts to apply.
Just as Dirty630 said, apply away if you have money. But, from what I've observed, it takes really extraordinary ECs and/or life story to "offset" lower GPA or MCAT. And, this may not apply to you, so no offense to you personally, but I've also observed that many premeds are not nearly as unique and their achievement are not as extraordinary as they think. I don't know what your ECs and personal story are, I'm just saying it's worth taking an honest look at yourself and your achievements.hey guys,

If you want to go to a top school and you think there may be room for improvement, I suggest retaking MCAT (and by "retaking MCAT" I mean preparing like crazy for your retake). Verbal can also be improved through good practice, I'm telling you this as someone who's not a native English speaker and who got a verbal score of 12 on her MCAT retake (13/12/13).
And if you don't think you can improve on MCAT of 31 and apply to many top schools... well, it's your money.
At 19, you have all the time in the world 🙂Yeah I'm just going to apply this cycle, and if I don't get into a good enough school I will retake the exam. I'm not running out of time (I'm 19, senior standing at UIC). Thanks for your comments, Ive been thinking about all that myself.
and great numbers by the way, something I would aim for if i retake the MCAT.
II for the regular MD program today; my very first reply of any kind! Awesome pre-dinner surprise email. I thought everyone was closed for the day already!
I couldn't find an email from Pritzker saying when they considered me complete, but I submitted the secondary before I was verified and was verified on the 23rd.Congrats! Obligatory question, when was your app complete?
They don't actually send you an email when you're complete, only your status changes on the secondary application site.I couldn't find an email from Pritzker saying when they considered me complete, but I submitted the secondary before I was verified and was verified on the 23rd.
Ouch. And with a profile like yours 🙁Rejected today. Complete 7/11.
3.89/36
This is my first rejection for the cycle so it kind of stings. I guess I need to get use to it. 15/16 applications to go. GL all.

Rejected. Complete about 2-3 weeks ago. 3.87/35 MCAT. I guess they don't want double alumni 🙁
Quick question: My secondary is complete but they haven't marked my LORs as received. My AMCAS application hasn't been verified yet, but I sent in my LORs to UChicago a long time ago. Will they only mark everything after my application has been verified?
My first rejection of the cycle... Its okay though; I got an interview at U Rochester today, so thats helps with the sting!
Good luck to everyone, I wish you all the best! Pritzker seems like a great school!
Best,
C
Awh I'm sorry to hear that. But congrats on the interview at U Rochester!
What are your numbers? If you don't mind
Bummer, put on hold. >3.9, 36 MCAT
Bummer, put on hold. >3.9, 36 MCAT
There's still a chance! NN said that 15-20% of the interviewed people come from the "on hold" pile.
Just curious when were you complete? I just got marked complete in the last day or two and was wondering if they still have the ultrafast turnaround time.
Just got an interview!!! So excited 😍
Yay congrats!!!
Are you all getting emails that tell you you have a status update, or are you just checking your app status?

You should get an email.
Weird, I didn't get an email about my status changing to complete or even to hold. Maybe they just email for II's?
Question: do you know if Pritzker will allow you to wait until new interview dates are available to schedule if you already have an invite? None of the current dates work terribly well with my schedule, but it appears that future ones may.
