I called admissions officer today (they are there on Thursdays) I submitted 9/25, I think complete 10/29, they said I am waiting to be reviewed and should hear back by week of Jan 6th.

How do you know the date you were completed?

Status just changed this morning. Additional correspondence tab is there and a message saying "A final decision was made on your application on 12-20-13. Please allow two weeks to receive the correspondence in the mail. If you do not receive this correspondence in two weeks please contact the Admissions Office. No decision will be given over the telephone." Interviewed 11/22.

Is "additional correspondence" tab just another box next to the dates of your interview & confirmation of interview? Is it a clickable tab or just a box? I am just curious . . . and I don't remember if I had seen it before or not.

http://imgur.com/MAja8Cr That's how it looks, don't take the Tab as a guaranteed acceptance people have been rejected with the Tab before. It's more like everyone who is accepted had the Tab. However, not everyone who has the Tab is accepted, if that makes any sense.

Yes just a box next to the other dates-not clickable.

Still decision pending... Can I assume this is a hold?
They have a month's worth of post-interview statuses to update, at least for the ones with Final Decision, so I'd wait until the late afternoon before assuming anything.

anybody else have their status change?? I'm still on decision pending and I was expecting a change today... Why is it so quiet on here!!

damn, was continuously checking the status page hoping for a change in status but still decision pending.

i interviewed dec 13th, anyone on that day get a change? otherwise, looks like im waiting a heck of a long time for the next adcom meeting

I don't think they updated people today. There just isn't enough activity on this page to indicate that they have.

I really really hope that the committee met and made decisions on Dec 19, but because of the holidays coming up they're waiting to update so the "Please allow two weeks to receive the correspondence in the mail" part can be true.

Not sure which update you're talking about (interview invite or acceptance), but I'm personally hoping its the latter, since when I did interview on 12/13, the dean said that they would try to get the letters out this calendar year. Not sure what it means in terms of II, or if they actually did decide on people who already interviewed.

Also wanted to reiterate that my status is still pending, but hopefully they were too busy putting stamps on envelopes to change the website =D

I interviewed 12/6 so I'm also hoping for an acceptance (my status is still pending). I got my interview invite email on Oct 23 (a Wednesday) so I figured IIs were less predictable than post-interview updates. Today certainly proved that wrong, haha.

Could anyone provide me a link to check application status please. Thanks.

Anyone aware if the adcom allows for updates to app pre-/post- interview (i.e., new LORs, updated activites, publication citations, etc.)?

I got this (The Final Decision Made + Additional Correspondence tab) as well but now I'm confused because it seems that most people are not seeing status changes. I interviewed in November.

I called today and someone from admissions said that they do not take updates of any kind.

well me and the other guy interviewed in december (him 6th, me 13th) so it seems like they didn't get through all the interviewees yet and/or we're pushed back to the next 3rd thursday of the month

I got this yesterday morning as well. Interviewed 12/11.

Does anybody have any idea how quickly the class fills up at the Chicago campus? For example, how late in the interview season can you make Chicago your first preference and actually get it?

Last year it seemed like early January people who requested Chicago campus started getting placed in UPR

Urbana, Peoria and Rockford

Don't people have a choice? Doesn't seem very fair if someone wants chicago and got placed in...rockford

I'm pretty sure I heard that people this year have a choice.

They let you rank all campuses, but Chicago will fill up and people will get placed at satellite campuses right? My tour guide told me a lot of people get placed on satellite campuses when they wanted Chicago, but end up really liking it!

I called today and someone from admissions said that they do not take updates of any kind.
Thanks for the heads up! Saved me a phone call. I have an interview scheduled for Jan. 10th. I guess I'll do my best to incorporate the new things I've been doing in the interview.

No change from decision pending for the 2nd month in a row 🙁
Right there with you, bro. Hopefully they made a decision this past Thursday, but they're just backed up with updating the status page.

if i interviewed on december 18th, would i most likely be considered in the adcom meeting in January? The third thursday in December was a day after my interview.

Has anyone who interviewed in December heard anything? It seems like it's a no but just curious

I'm a female by the way. 🙂

Just looked through last year's thread. People who had decisions in December received their mail 1-2 days after Christmas.

Eek! I have the additional correspondence tab and should get a decision soon, but it will go to my university and they won't forward it on until after the first of the year. I'm feeling a little impatient!

It goes to your permanent address so you might get it earlier than you think.

Has anyone received the "Decision Pending" (No Status Change) + "We'll keep reviewing you" Email?

Meaning the upcoming week as well? Then if we do get our correspondence in the next few days and (if they are acceptances) mail them back, no one would be there to receive responses or assign sites until the 6th? Or do I misunderstand.

I interviewed in late November and received final decision/additional correspondence, but I certainly don't feel like celebrating!!

Does anyone know if 'Additional Correspondence' can mean anything besides acceptance?
