Does anyone know what they're looking for in terms of international volunteering? I've done research abroad, but only have one true volunteer experience internationally. It's included in my AMCAS app, and I'm not sure what I can say that isn't completely redundant of my description there.

You're good! MSAR states they will take a maximum of 5 letters.
Awesome thanks haha, I think I read somewhere online that they wanted a max of three. I guess if the MSAR says 5 I'll just go with that 🙂
Yeah, it's frustrating to figure out every single schools' preferences when they make it sound like they only want a specific number. Best of luck in this cycle!

Nope, just submit ASAP! It's a pretty easy secondary! Checking spam folders is almost common knowledge. 3 weeks isn't too bad.

You are amazing! I have been checking my spam, but somehow I missed this! This was the only secondary so far that has gone to spam. If I didn't see your post, I probably would not have checked my spam folder that far back! So thank you!! =) Annoying that we'll be submitting back so late....

No problem! It's unfortunate that we are submitting so late.... I called them and they said not to worry about it, and that it won't affect our applications in any way. They discouraged updating them/calling again about it, so I'm sure its not that big of a deal.

One of my favorite scenes by farsame here. Their original e-mail stated that we would receive an e-mail when our files are considered complete and are under review. I submitted 7/4 so I'm a little weirded out that I have not received a complete e-mail.

I submitted 7/21 and received complete email 7/25 saying "We would like to inform you that your application is complete and under review. You will receive another email once a decision is made on your application..."
I guess it has been a while since you've submitted, so perhaps it might be worth calling/emailing to check in? However, I'm not sure how responsive they are.

Just received my "complete" email! Weird because everything was received 7/21, but I just got that email today, so I guess it does take awhile for them to process it.

Thanks for the response! I bit the bullet and sent them an e-mail. If they never respond, well I guess that's life.
Call them. When I explained the problem, and that I was so sorry for bothering them, the admissions office person told me my lack of file completion was an accident and she would push it through. Got a complete email two hours later.
Their process is a bit bizarre, considering I recieved two complete emails, four days apart with identical wording in the body. Oh well, super complete I guess!
