was complete late august and really hoping to hear back. crossing fingers for an interview. just a quick question, but does Davis care if one of your parents did their residency there? It never asked for familial ties to the school in the secondary, from what I remember, but I'm not sure if they pay attention to the AMCAS biographical info with parents' education/schools

I highly doubt they would take that into consideration, although, I do believe we have one MS1 whose dad works as a physician for UCDHS.

I'm still waiting to hear back, but I'm glad theyre getting to the 10/31 interview!

oh man, that's good to hear they're still giving out good news to earlier interview batches. i for sure thought i'd been passed over. 😳

on that note, has anyone been sent a waitlist or post-interview rejection this month?
 
Also interviewed 10/24 and was accepted Tuesday!! So thankful, Praise God

Been complete since June and not a peep. Man I don't know what to do. I spent weeks revising my application from last year. I even went in and spoke with a previous admissions officer to talk about my app. I get its competitive, but damn. I'm gonna send in a letter of interest but this process is seriously confounding me.

Anyone from June also not hear anything back?

They don't take any extra information. I sent in a letter of interest about a week ago, and I got a copy past email saying that they will not take any information that is not specifically asked for. I wouldn't waste your time unless you are asked. I have been complete since july 1st, and I haven't heard a thing.
 
Did anyone who interviewed on 11/14 hear back yet? I've been anxiously glued to my phone.

Hi all! Just curious but did anyone who received an II apply to ACE-PC?
 
Update: the tap water at UCD SOM tastes really good! Much better than what's at the main campus in Davis.

Did anyone else get an invite to their ACE-PC open house?

I got placed on the regular MD waitlist, so not sure if this is worth traveling to Sac again. It was most likely a mass email sent out.

probably a mass e-mail. i was rejected post-interview from UCD and still got an e-mail. Davis is playing with my emotions )=

After spending some time on last year's thread it looks like, if we're lucky, we might hear from them about a month after our interviews.
 
Ugh they sounded so sure that they would get back to us in 2-3 weeks?! I guess it's good to hear that nobody else has heard yet

+1 I've been glued to my phone and this thread for the past week... hopefully we find out next week. Does anyone know if the week before us (11/14) has found out yet?
 
Looks like the last batch of decisions was for 10/24 and 10/31, so I guess they have to get through 11/7, 11/14, then our day....Here's hoping for news before christmas!

^ A close friend of mine got accepted 12/5 and interviewed 11/21!
 
Has anyone who interviewed on 12/5 heard back? Today is the 14 day mark and the wait is killing me

I was also in the 12/5 group and haven't heard anything yet. Just going to try distracting myself so I stop worrying about it...

Same! I think I'm going to go hiking in the rain or something. Anything to take my mind off of this. Good luck to us both!
 
I've had trouble submitting an update letter through the Portal. It says my character count is way over.
Has anyone else had this problem?
