I'm applying OOS here too!! I'm interested in peds onc and the children's hospital here has an amazing cancer program. Definitely a good selling point for me! I know I shouldn't look at schools in relation to specialty, but I'm sure it helps to have knowledgable and successful mentors in fields of my interest.

Just got the secondary! I'll post as soon as I look through it if there are any changes.

I called the number they provide. I'm a reapplicant and apparently my password from 2 years ago had expired. They just reset it.

Do we need to submit finger prints and the addresses of our last 3 residences, too?

What about a drug screen?

If we're not in school but our current major activities are listed on AMCAS, do we still answer this question?

Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure all that stuff is only if you get accepted

If you have a birth date early in the month (the second, third, fourth etc.) the password they give you using your birth date is wrong, you need to add in the 0 prior to the #. So it should be whatever letters and symbols then MMDDYYYY, but for whatever reason they give you it in MMDYYYY if you have a single digit bday. I guessed that was the prob after the pw didn't work, tried it with the 0 and it worked just fine.

Thanks for the tip. I called IT and they reset my password.

For the moving violations questions what information should I include to "fully explain" a speeding ticket? It seems kind of silly because there isn't any good reason or excuse for traffic violations, it's pretty cut and dry. But the 750 character limit makes me feel like they want something more.

Clearly you should indicate how you were speeding to rescue people from a burning building while delivering under represented babies.

Dang. I wish I had a sweet story like that. Unfortunately it is more like driving late at night and wasn't paying attention to how fast I was going because there was no one on the road. Well...except for that cop I didn't see. *Sigh*

I just simply explained: rolled through a stop sign, was give a ticket and fine. I didn't put a reason because I'm guessing they don't want an excuse

Exactly how my speeding ticket was. The best part was it was the end of a 4 hour drive and I was 2 exits from home. Woof.

Okay, I will do something similar. I just couldn't remember the details like the county or exact date. It isn't on my driving record anymore because it has been so long, so I can't even go to the DMV to find out. I don't know why they would really care about it, but they are asking for a reason I suppose.

really wanna get this secondary soon so I can check an easy one off my list!

I'm gonna bump this question in case anyone missed it. I'd like to hear opinions as well...

I took the question as "what will you be doing from now until matriculation." I wrote about my full-time job. If you have major activities that consume a lot of your time, I guess you could also include them in this section.

Ya, that seems pretty logical. I think I'll do the same.

That's what I thought, but it's very specific in saying "not listed on AMCAS". I'm apprehensive because I know that not answering the prompt/failing to follow directions is never a good thing.

whoops, looks like the website is down. That's good because all these secondaries and work and personal stuff is kind of getting to me right now!

Just submitted. Not happy I had to report speeding tickets tho =/.

same here IDK what the hell happened.
Were you able to log in at any point and change the password they sent you in the email? I can't log in using the credentials they provided :/

Were you guys all verified already? Some schools are sending out IIs to people who are still waiting for verification.

yes, but then it bugged and i couldn't login on that other site.

I don't think anyone is getting interview invites at this point

Meant secondaries, sorry. Just wondering because I've received some secondaries but am still waiting for verification, and was wondering if I should expect a Cincy secondary soon or not.

In the past they have given out secondaries out prior to verification, not sure if they are doing it this year. Their site is down right now though so either way I wouldn't expect anything until things are fixed on their end.

Well, I've contacted their tech support about not being able to login and we'll see what they do. Hopefully they fix the issue for everyone 🙂

+1 to this. Go to secondary login, try to login, fail, click help, click change password, set new password (use the password they emailed you as the old password), then you should be able to log in.

Or atleast it worked for me.

This worked for me as well. I was scratching my head afterwards.

For the traffic violation question, do you have to include offenses that happened when you were a minor and your record has since been sealed?

I just tried this after numerous attempts to sort out the PSS thing and it worked. Yay!
