you have some good grades and mcats. I think you should still count on an interview from UConn. I still say the silence is kind of normal.

Hmm okay. Yea it seems like they haven't been active with sending II and decisions this year, considering how there are only three pages on this thread haha. Maybe they waited for the deadline and want to review most of them now.

3.3 UGPA from UConn, 3.6 Grad GPA from UConn, 26 MCAT (not great I know.. (breakdown was 6/10/10) tons of research/clinical experiance, letters from Harvard, etc. Would love to come back to UConn, it's my dream school. Still hopeful.

good luck, I hope you get interviewed. ive pretty much given up hope. like, if they want to interview me, then that's cool and ill go. if not, no big deal. im trying to tell myself that they're the ones missing out.

I'm on the same boat. I keep telling myself that our time will come but it's been months haha.
 
Is it bad to send them an email about it at this point? I was complete around mid july
 
Accepted this past week! IS and interviewed beginning of November so it's a quick turn-around once you get the II, good luck!

Nice. What dates were available?
 
They were scheduling me in before Christmas which was actually really surprising for such notice so not sure if this is normal or some last minute thing before the holidays
 
Anyone know if there is a facebook group for the 2019 class yet?
 
II yesterday!! Awesome way to end the year! Complete early September, MCAT 33, GPA 3.7, IS. Scheduled the interview for Jan 12.

Got my II 12/29/14!!! My interview date is set for the 16th of January...I'm super excited. My stats are: OOS applicant, URM, 3.98 GPA, 30 MCAT, born and raised in CT but moved away for the past few years, very unique ECs, disadvantaged status, and one hell of personal statement. LOL. Good luck to everyone who is left. I only hope the class is not full yet.
 
Congrats!!! I was told that I will get my official result by March 1st....I am crossing my fingers. My interview was excellent.
 
anyone still not get a response? I submitted mid july and haven't heard back. Called a couple of times and they said everything's fine.
 
Anyone with news? They only offer interviews through the end of January according to their website so I'm guessing my cycles over.
 
I spoke with a member of the admissions committee who told me they were unprecedentedly behind on applications this year. So I'd say there still may be a tad of hope, but I wouldn't hold onto too much of it.
 
I just called and left a message regarding my status. Maybe they'll call me back...oh well

We probably interviewed on the same day. I interviewed early December and got my MD/PhD acceptance letter (email) on 1/16
 
Anyone still complete and waiting for response pre II? I've been done since July and haven't heard much. (Though I sent in an update letter in January that they said they recieved a month later). Can't tell if they no like me or they just behind this year haha.
 
Does anyone know when the next committee meeting is? And what's the turn around time from being switched to "in committee" status until the actual decision?

Same I keep calling- but they're not picking up the phone over there. They must be busy. But still, I just need to know either way. I've convinced myself the cycle is over and started prepping for the next cycle.
