Jezz theyre still on mid july? Must have a ton of applications.... Or better things to do. 8/21 complete here :/

Would you mind sharing stats?

No Problem. 3.13cGPA/3.3ish sGPA/32Q, completed a top SMP with a 3.45 GPA (finished above the medical school average both blocks), biomedical engineering undergrad, one year working for a medical device company (two once I hypothetically matriculate), four published chapters in a neurophenotyping textbook, undergraduate and master's thesis, varsity athletics, five years of coaching, random volunteering and shadowing thrown in here and there.

This is my third year applying, so realistically speaking this is kind of my last hurrah. Hopefully Monday goes well and I don't have to implement "Life- Plan B".

I was complete 8/21 as well! They'll get to us!
In the mean time... does anyone know if USF is receptive/accepts pre-II updates?

Accepted into USF MED EDP!!!! SO HAPPY..for those of you worrying about your interview be yourself and dont be a try hard! USF really doesn't give out many interview invites so if you do get one you have a good shot. Just make sure you follow through.

Congratulations XxSynapsexX! I'd really like to get into USF Select.

Hey!!

Congrats to you two!!! Extremely excited that you got in!

If it's no trouble, do you mind sharing the date of your interview and the date you received the call? I want to know the approx. time frame between the two. If you don't want to share on the forum, do you mind PM'ing me?

I interviewed the second week of Sept and got a call about a week after.

My status says, App Complete: "Your Application is Ready!" with nothing after it.

Does that mean they haven't even reviewed my file yet? I was complete on 8/20.

Same here, I've been complete since 07/22.

Does anybody else have the "last viewed date" before the "complete application date"?

Also curious about this. I was complete late, 8/21.
My app says the same thing :/ I was complete around that same week as you guys. I'm guessing they'll view ours early October or so.. hoping.. wishing..😕

Are we certain that the date besides "Your application is ready! Your application was last viewed on..." is indicative on when the committee last viewed your application? I submitted my app on 8/5 and received an email stating that I was complete, yet the date beside "you app was last viewed on" is still listed at 8/5?

Would anyone who has already had an interview for the CORE program be willing to share details on what the interview was like? Was it relatively laid-back or were they bombarding you with tough questions? I know there are two one-hour interviews, but are they with staff and students, or just two staff intervies? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!

^^^

I was hoping that someone could answer the exact same question as above but for the SELECT program. I will be interviewing on 10/6 and would like to see what I am up against.

Current MS1 here so I interviewed for Core last year and can fill you in on what I remember about it. The entire interview day at USF was and is always a great experience. Everyone is extremely friendly and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. The whole day should be zero stress. Then there are the 2 interviews (I had 1 faculty and 1 4th year student), which are very conversational and certainly not designed to be stressful. During my interviews, I just had a conversation with my respective interviewers, and he/she would bring up parts of my application for me to clarify/elaborate/discuss. At one point I remember just talking about my family and my parents. I don't remember any curveball questions or anything like "what is your biggest flaw." My advice is to just make sure you know your application and be ready to talk about it if it comes up and make it sound interesting - you're not there to just list what's already on your application, but maybe talk about how the particular experience was interesting, how you impacted the activity/experience, and what you learned from it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Like the previous poster said, the interview day is designed to be a chill as possible and to introduce you to the program. The interview is different, but I can't go into specific details about it as we have to sign a confidentiality agreement in regards to it. I also interviewed in Tampa, so I'm not sure what the differences are to the Lehigh interview day. I believe the interview is recorded so it can be watched in Tampa as well. They used to do skype with the folks interviewing in Allentown but I heard they dropped that last year, so not sure if they are doing it this year.

I have heard the interview: acceptance rate is higher for SELECT, but I don't have specific numbers on that. There were definitely a couple people that I interviewed with that are currently my classmates in both Tampa and Allentown.

First and foremost, relax the day of the interview and be the person on paper who was selected to interview. Good luck all.

Just wondering who has gotten a core II, that is not EDP, and what their stats were if they dont mind posting them?

Yeah for sure, I am OOS from California, 3.7 GPA, 3.85 BCPM, 33O MCAT. Good luck to you!

Mine says App Complete! Your application was last viewed on 7/28/2014 (which is 4 days before i submitted it so that doesnt make much sense)

Any correlation between when your app was viewed last and how soon after that people have been hearing from them?

Complete 8/21 and no "Last viewed" status. Anyone else in the same anxious boat? I know I submitted late, but I want them to see it. I'm in-state. My numbers are pretty average.

I was complete 3 weeks before you and I don't have a last viewed status

Thank you! It makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one. I wonder if that means they actually haven't looked or if it means they just didn't update the date.

Anyone receive and II recently within the past 3 weeks or so? It would be greatly appreciated if you informed us! Also if you post your stats thatd be cool too

II for SELECT today! OOS MCAT 31-35, GPA >3.7 Complete 7/25

I picked the PA interview for Nov because the first available interview for FL was in Jan.

Congrats!
