They're too smart to ask the exact same questions... I was just providing a couple examples. Sorry
 
Just finished the phone interview, took 46 minutes. Some of the questions were...bleh. One of them I completely made up an answer and sounded like an a babbling *****. :grumpy: Overall it wasn't that bad.
 
Telephone II via email! Holistic review started 7/28, completed 8/24.
 
Telephone interview invite about an hour ago. Review was started 8/14 and completed 8/23. Very excited for this opportunity.
 
Are there any WMed re-applicants who have received a phone interview invite or an on-site interview invite?
 
Onsite II today! Really excited about this one 🙂

Holistic Review Started: 7/28
Completed: 8/22
Tele II: 9/05
Onsite II: 9/10

The only dates that are available are in October (2 Fridays and a Monday so far).
Also, both traditional and MMI interviews...Wmed really puts us through the ringer haha...

Trust me, you want it this way! The school gets a better picture of you, and you get a better picture of the school. The interviewers are faculty, and the MMI interviewers are community members who care about the success of the school. So you get this really incredible mix of perspectives and a chance to really feel out what makes this school special. Congrats on the interview invites - we (the current students) are psyched to meet you guys!

That's strange for you guys. I received mine shortly after the email. I wonder of there is a backup or something.
 
Has anyone had the holistic review take longer than a month?
 
If you do not receive your scheduling email soon, you should send a message to the address given in the phone interview invite email - Ms. Guthrie was very quick to respond when the same happened to me, and on a Friday evening as well. Keep in mind that this is a company separate from WMed so contacting admissions won't help you much.

My best advice is to just relax.
 
Dang...for those who got phone invites today, when did you guys sign up? The earliest slot available for me was Sept 29 =/

I got the 19th but I happened to be in my email when the email arrived.
 
Well, they must have offered a lot of phone interviews today. I just selected a time for mine, and the week of Oct 6 was the first available slot.

Yeah I was too. I got the unofficial invite via email this morning, but I didn't get the actual scheduling email until ~12 hours later this evening. I really wanted to do this thing ASAP, but I guess I'm really complaining about first world med school admissions problems so I will stop =) (really thrilled with the invite btw!!)

I signed up for Sept 18th but I had emailed the coordinator about not receiving the scheduling email around dinnertime.

Is it bad if the telephone interview went over the 1 hour allotted time frame? I answered the questions fine and felt at ease, but I went over by like 20 minutes!

I signed up this morning, and it said "Your telephone interview for WMU Homer Stryker School of Medicine has been scheduled. An email with the details of your scheduled interview has been sent to you."

However, I waited for 30 mins and still no email was sent to me.. Am I the only one?

It took like an hour before I got my confirmation email.
