You are much more observant than I am. There is no "thank you for attending the interview..." in my portal, but I didn't really notice that it was gone until you said something.
 
I'm not sure if that means a decision has been made. In previous years, the letters of rec disappeared when they have made a decision. They didn't come back for those that were accepted and returned about a day later for people that were waitlisted. I wonder if it's the same story this time around.

I hope not. My "thank you for interviewing" disappeared too but my letters are still present. We can't all have been waitlisted right?? In previous years it looked like the large majority of people on SDN who interviewed this early got an acceptance email.

For the record, I checked earlier today and everything was still present. Letters of rec included. So (as far as I know) they did not disappear and then come back.

Would've liked to do mine earlier too but unfortunately Halloween was the only date I could make 😛

Yeah, it just looks like they are getting the portal ready. I don't think anyone's letters have disappeared yet. We should start worrying when that happens.
 
I also heard/saw somewhere (don't remember if it was here or at my interview) that even if you don't get an email, you can call on 10/15 and get an update over the phone. Anyone else hear a similar thing?
 
Can anyone discuss the process of calling in and getting updates? I am pretty confused about this but also haven't been following this thread too carefully. Do you have to have an interview before you do this or is this open to everyone? Furthermore, I get the impression it is on specific days, correct? What specific days is this allowed and how do we go about arranging a time? Any web pages or info people have will help. Thanks guys! Good luck to everyone!

I don't think there are any specific days of the week for calling. The only thing I know of that is on a specific day is open door, but that is something you do in person.
 
Someone on here said they did it last year through open door Thursday's. I don't live near Omaha but sent them an email asking if I could take advantage of that. They called me back and set up a phone conference with them on Wednesday. Pretty cool that they even made arrangements outside of usual Thursday spots. I'm a lower tier candidate but feel as though I have the potential to make up for that through life experiences...all I want from this is the chance for someone to actually pick up and read my app!
 
I feel like they may not disappear. Considering that the "thank you for interviewing" blurb disappeared for most of us, that may be our sign. But who knows. It'll be a long day no matter what.

Yeah, they might have changed it up this year. We'll know when we get our first SDN post about someone getting accepted.

I would, but I interviewed 9/27 and my little blurb about visiting for the interview is still up. Last year they got back on the decision for that group at the same time as those that interviewed earlier.... I hope it's the same this year, but who knows.
 
Just called, there is a glitch in the system and they most likely won't be accepting anyone until Monday.
 
Well, at least we now know and don't have to be checking the portal 5 x's an hour from now until then.

Interesting... I interviewed 9/26 and do not have a thank you for interviewing blurb. This anticipation is brutal especially since it is Midterm week at my school!

EDIT: I do still have the letter section on my app, though.
 
UPDATE: I just called and asked about decision notifications. I was transferred to another woman. She didn't answer but maybe she can give us decisions over the phone? Otherwise couldn't the receptionist answer my question?

I just got to work 🙁 but I may call back if I have a chance when I think she's forgotten my voice
 
I just got off the phone with medical admissions, and she said that for some reason (that she doesn't know), they aren't able to put in decisions until Monday.

Thanks for letting us know. I wish they would just tell us over the phone if a decision has already been made. Oh well 🙂
 
This morning my "thank you for interviewing" status disappeared. Now, my letters of recommendation have also disappeared. Anyone else the same?
Interviewed on 9/26
 
Mine are too. Let's hope they don't reappear.

Is the earliest we will find out for sure Monday or did they say it was possible we would find out tomorrow?

If the letters disappeared, that historically means that a decision has been made. You should be able to call in and find out barring any system issues on Creighton's end.

I interviewed the same day and everything is still up for me too... I'm feeling pretty left out and hopeless 🙁

Don't worry! They probably just haven't gotten around to making decisions on your interview day yet since it was only 3 weeks ago.
 
Anyone call in this morning? Presumably decisions have been made for those whose letters have disappeared.
