Spring hold. What is the consensus on these? Have there been pre-interview rejections, is this slightly better than a rejection?

On last years thread a few people got off spring hold and were invited for an interview, but not many.

Yes, I believe the Spring hold is slightly better than a rejection, because some applicants were rejected outright pre-interview via snail mail. That's according to some earlier posts on this thread.
 
That was fast! Waiting to hear back from mid December still
 
Well I called them and they said they mailed my letter yesterday, so I guess wait list or rejection? No e-mail 🙁
 
Has anybody who's been accepted been able to successfully schedule a visiting day for the PIL curriculum? I've been trying to contact the PIL office for over two weeks without any response
 
After looking through last years thread I did see a few get off spring hold and was invited to interview..was end of Feb. early March.

There were two dates available mid-Feb and a ton of dates in March as well.

Congrats!! Were you ever put on hold?
 
From August until a few days ago my portal said something along the lines of "no decision has been made...." Now it says "your file is complete and will be reviewed." Does anyone know if this means I should be hearing something soon or is this just a new statement to sit on for several more months?

Well it's not a spring hold or a rejection so that's good news.

I interviewed the last week in October and got my acceptance letter the second week in December. For whatever its worth, my interview went well, but definitely not amazingly.
 
Anyone know how long it takes for your status to change from "Your file is currently under review by a member of the committee, and will be passed to the committee soon. No decision has been made to date" to a decision has been made?

It goes to Under committee next, then to a Decision made. Time varies between people. Some takes a week, other take couple weeks. The length isn't an indication of whether get accepted or not either.

Thanks! I was just wondering how much longer of a wait it would be before any decision was reached, whatever it might be.
 
Anyone know if we send updated transcripts to reflect out Fall grades directly to the Drexel admissions office?
 
I interviewed 12/14 and the status update page is still thanking me for visiting the campus 🙁

Yep! I sent mine directly to office of admissions and my portal shows they received it.

They haven't cashed the check though which has me concerned... At least it hasn't shown up on my bank statement online. How long did it take for them to cash your deposit ciestar?

What exactly does it say on the portal when they've received the deposit check?
