I got a confirmation from Ms. Walk that they are considering me for the PARP program, but they have to make sure my application meets with the guidelines in which in my opinion is a lottery for me. Yea, I get there pretty early before most people, but it'll be so exciting to get a feel of Howard and meet their students before the year starts. Overall, they haven't gave me the green light just yet on the acceptance, but I will definitely take it.
Did you receive an interview invite recently? And if so, when did you get your invite if you don't mind me asking?
I asked the same question before I went to my interview on march 23rd. Somedy gave a really detailed answer. If you go couple pages back on this thread you will see that answer. In a nutshell it is open file interview. The interview is really relaxed for the most part. No grilling. Most interviewees that day said the same thing. Interview day really chill too. You get to meet students, visit the simulation lab, anatomy lab. Go to a class. Definitely go back 2 or 3 pages and look for that post.

If you are denied from Howard do you still receive the out of committee email?
I asked someone that was waitlisted if they received the out of committee email and they said no. And that guy you just quoted didn't even interview. I asked him earlier in the thread and he replied. It seems like they only send out of committee letters to accepted students unless proven otherwise.

hey, would you happen to know if most of the people from your interview date were from the DC/Maryland/Virginia area?
We were 2 people from the dmv on that interview day. All the other people flew in and a few drove down from places like NC and the like. Also note that the second most represented state in their student body is CA which was a surprise for most of us.

I was in a similar situation. You don't have to take one with you but I took a copy of my official transcript and gave it to Ms. Walk after the interview day was over. I would recommend you do the same thing instead of mailing it at a later time!

They gave you 4 dates ??? They only gave me 2 dates that were the following week.
