I spoke to admissions the other day. They said that in past years, ~50% of waitlisted people end up getting in. However, last year there wasn't much movement =/

Hi everyone! I was a silent reader on this forum, but I wanted to give an update that I was given an II today!

My application was complete on 10/28 post secondary and I received it today.

My LizzyM was lower mid 60s so there is hope! Don't give up! I signed up for February interview date.

For those waiting for IIs, the website says that invites are extended until January and interviews end in February.

The only available date for me was also February for interview. I wonder if it's a disadvantage to interview in the last month then. I had a friend who interviewed at Davis last year in March though...? Is it different this year I wonder?

Wouldn't hurt I think. Unless it puts you over their LOR max which I think is 5?

I'd email Joanna Garcia (joanna.garcia[AT]ucdmc.ucdavis.edu) to see if you can arrange a personalized revisit.

Last cycle, UC Davis's Revisit for everyone was the second week of April, so I assume it will be around the same time for this cycle.

I'm not seeing any dates when I try to schedule the interview. Did anyone else experience this issue?

Also, anyone have any insight about how the interview day was? Would greatly appreciate it! 🙂

Has anyone attended a personalized revisit yet and could speak on what they got out of it? I was offered one but I'm not exactly sure I'd need it because A) It doesn't seem like I'm gonna get accepted anywhere else and B) I live in the East Coast...

Interviewed at the beginning of December. Just got an email yesterday saying I was wait-listed. :/ Anyone know how many students Davis takes off the wait-list on average, and if they tell you your spot on the waitlist?

Interviewed back in late september and i'm pretty amazed i got accepted because this was a big reach school (3.2 GPA, 22 MCAT) and I'm hyped. Hopefully I'll meet all yall soon, just waitin on a couple more schools!

Were you initially wait-listed, then got accepted? or they just didn't get back to you until now?
