Ultra sound. More specifically, its use as a medical tool for a variety of different applications. The school as a whole seems to be technology driven.

I was in the 9/28 pool as well, and if I recall correctly, we won't find out until mid-November.(At least thats what they said during the interview day).

Accepted yesterday in the morning via phone call. Interviewed 8/31. LizzyM 69, UCI undergrad. There is a portal change that says accepted and to notify of our intent, but when I click on the intent to register link, it says I cannot access it once my secondary is submitted. Anyone else having trouble with this?

To people on the alternate list: was the decision pretty obvious when you logged onto your portal? Mine still shows nothing beyond "interview scheduled" as far as I can tell, but maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks, I interviewed on 9/18. Dr. Peterson said there would be no change to my portal for a while, but not to worry. Looks like portal changes so far have been waitlists.

I got a phone call then a status change the next day, but no email. Status change was super obvious, it's in that main status check portal page in the box that says something like admissions status.

EDIT: Just called. There's been minimal movement in the WL the past few years...so at least they are honest about that. This sucks.

Did you figure this out? I'm having the same issue.

I was wondering, are intent to registers like the one you have received from UC Irvine binding? If they give a 2 week deadline, I would assume not, but I am not sure. Is the Intent to Register simply a way of saying you accept their offer of acceptance and will consider it until April 30th when you have to decide?
