Just called the admissions office and the really sweet woman there said that they are sending out everything today. It is only her sending things out so I do not think it will be all right away! GOOD LUCK AGAIN GUYS! :happy:

Mahalo for sharing that info. Call her again letting her know that we would be more than happy to come and help her out.
 
Any word if they are sending acceptances all together or are the files just scattered and it's a random process. Poor woman just one person firing off emails for a couple 100 people

Accepted, IS. Re-applicant. BAFFLED . I thought for sure I was not going to get in, I was already conditioning my self to move out of paradise and now this. Holy .... I will have to make some seriously decisions now. Congrats for everyone accepted and good luck for everyone else still on the battle.

Just curious what time did your email come?
 
Congrats guys! Wish I could be in your positions, but I'm waitlisted (1:30 pm HST) IS.
 
I'm guessing the emails for waitlists and rejections are starting to be sent and that all acceptance emails has been sent.. I haven't received anything yet.. 🙁
 
To those that were accepted, when do you have to commit by?

EDIT: nvm saw someone posted their acceptance letter on fb. it's april 4.. looks like we get to wait another 2 weeks haha..

And for the sake of anyone asking:
3.9cGPA, 3.9sGPA, 508MCAT w/ plenty of extra curriculars.

Had 2 good interviews, 1 bad one. Maybe that's why haha.

Why do you say you had a bad interview?
 
Also looked at the 2013-2014 thread and saw 2 other OOSers that got acceptances off of the waitlist (besides ChemicallyUnstable that was already mentioned) in June! This gives me some hope!
 
Is there anyone who still hasn't gotten a response yet? I just checked my email and there's nothing there. 🙁

Not to be a downer but they seem to send out acceptance then wait list then rejections....

Rejected. LizzyM 72. OOS. I felt my ec were good but i had crappy interview performance. See you Hawaii in 4 to 8 years. If you need me I will be crying in a closet somewhere.
 
IS waitlisted.... Anyone have any information on how this list works? The email they sent us was very uninformative 🙁

I'm thinking it's just a waiting game until someone that was accepted rejects their offer and one of us gets pulled!

It's based off a ranking system though right...? I wonder why they don't release any information regarding what position you are in :/. Every time I get an email notification my heart skips a beat... Anyway, good luck and I hope we get the email within the next few weeks!

I don't know but it probably saves them a lot of drama. Not sure but alas here's hoping! Best of luck to you!
 
Just a heads up that I learned from a friend that he received his Imi Ho'ola invitation to interview today. So keep an eye out for those that applied for Imi!

Same 3 interview process, last day is on 04/22.
 
Was anyone successful in scheduling an exit interview with Dr. Nip Asano?
