"Your file is now complete and under review."

Is this the default status message after submitting your secondaries or is my file literally being reviewed right now?

After the last "#UMichMedMondays," trying not to get my hopes up haha
I know what you mean!!! I'm somewhat more tempted to believe it this time since they DEFINITELY gave a specific date/time (1pm). Last time, it was just heavily implied that they meant the upcoming Monday hahahaha. Guess they were just advertising a few weeks in advance 😉 Good luck to all today!! Hope you hear some great news!!

Even assuming the tweet is accurate, I'm not going to hold by breath at getting one of the earliest II 🙁

Oh I certainly don't think I'm going to get one either, but it'd make me plenty happy to see several people on this thread get IIs 🙂

Haha wait only 22 offers? Lolz are those all they're doing today or are they gonna give more? All this hullabaloo!

I would guess that's all they're going to do today, unfortunately 🙁

well apparently this secondary has been sitting in my inbox for the last two weeks. 13 DAYS TO BE EXACT. I actually hate myself right now

Just wondering, does Michigan send a formal rejection letter/email during the process? Or is it just at the very end where you pretty much know yourself that you are not getting an invite?

On the Acknowledgement page (6/6) of the secondary application, what should be typed into the "Official Use Only" text field? Initials? Leave it blank?

NICE! Can I ask when you submitted/ stats?

Submitted my secondary on 7/28, LizzyM 75, over 3 years of research experience but no pubs, lots of ECs. I should mention that I did their summer program a few years back, so I had a strong chance of getting an interview as long as didn't ruin my application somehow (which I was legitimately worried about lol). That explains the quick turnaround between my submission and II. So don't base your chances off of my invite!

Interesting things I noticed: They've offered disproportionately more OOS interviews than IS (32% to 16% of all interviews offered). If the application numbers stay constant, we can assume that 24% of IS applicants will get an II while just 11% of OOS applicants will.

Well crap, I'm surprised we haven't heard more SDNers getting II's then! Unless they're mostly MSTP But that seems like a lot of applicAtions for that...
Well seeing as we've only seen 1 out of 22 from yesterday's IIs, I guess that's about right. Most people are SDN lurkers, but never post.

I always figured more ppl were on SDN than this tho. I almost don't wanna believe that over 140 II have gone out lol considering so many ppl have posted about II at other schools actively sending them already.
Maybe UmichmedMondays have been going on all along lol.

*tries to calculate similar stats and percentages for other schools*

*stares at screen*

*stops*

On the MCAT tracker ppt, it says that the highest MCAT score received was 100.0%...wut

Yes, in the 100th percentile.
That would make more sense hahaha. Although I have heard that some years there is a 45. (Saw this from admissions stats from previous years at a different school that showed the absolute min/max.)

I think Michigan used to do theirs with absolute numbers, but with the two tests, it would be easier to do percentiles.
