Yes, Pritzker. But I've seen on their thread that waitlist movement is minimal this year.

Just thought I'd update you all, the School of Medicine administration just sent out official notice that second year Pass/Fail has been approved as of today, and will take effect this Fall for this coming 2016-2017 academic year!

You can't unfortunately. Rules state that once a matriculation action has taken place you are no longer considered elsewhere.

As a WUSM M1 student, I'm going to say that you should answer them. Pretend they are interview questions - would they be optional? "Describe a time or situation where you have been unsuccessful or failed." Everybody has failed at one point or another, so in my opinion, that's not optional. The other question about "unique experiences or obstacles that you have overcome" is optional because this does not apply to everybody.

You're welcome. Keep in mind that these two questions are truly "optional" (i.e. based on previous people's posts, people have gotten in without answering them), but I think it's a waste if they apply to you and you don't answer them. In my opinion, answering them gives the admissions committee more information to advocate for you (ex. your insight, maturity, etc.) to get an interview and possibly acceptance.
