Thank you so much for calling. I interviewed on the same day and my next interview is on 11/7. Coming up so soon. I really hope that I don't have to go to that interview. Keeping my fingers crossed that we hear back from Creighton soon.

Do they send out rejection emails? Haven't heard anything back and applied several months...

From what I gather they do send out rejection letters although I do not know if its right away. I saw a different thread talking about receiving them. From what I gather some stuff disappears from your portal when a decision is made? Also I don't think anyone who interviewed after 9/02 has heard anything. Someone earlier mentioned they meet on Thursdays so maybe tomorrow? It is kinda nice being in West Coast time. It feels like having to wait two hours less for everything that happens in Central time 🙂.

My friend who interviewed on the 9th got his decision on the 15th of Oct. So I think admissions decisions for the interviews after that will be coming out really shortly

Do they send pre-II rejections? Complete 08/08 LizzyM ~73-74 and still silence. Not sure if no news is good news or bad news here.

My 'thank you for visiting campus' disappeared! Does this mean a decision is in the works?

EDIT: Interviewed 9/23
 
Does anyone who interviewed not have the "thank you for visiting campus" message?

EDIT: I interviewed a few weeks ago but nothing on my portal has changed at all. It still says, "Thank you for scheduling an interview..."

All my page says is "thank you for submitting your secondary" and then my letter underneath. You guys have a thanks for visiting campus? I had all my transcripts, letters, and secondary stuff submitted by 7/7 and I interviewed 9/24. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

I used to have a thing at the top of the page that said 'thanks for visiting campus', ever since I interviewed. But as of today that's gone now, which in past years has meant that a decision is coming soon.

Strange, they never thanked me for visiting campus ):. At least I don't think they did. If it was up there and I didn't see it then it is not there now.

I wouldn't worry about it, you probably just never noticed! haha its a tiny detail
 
Anyone interviewing this weekend know where/when the M0 dinner is tonight? Admissions didn't know earlier this week

Days available were Nov. 12th, Dec. 3rd, Dec. 9th, & Dec. 10th.

For those who have interviewed - did you do the student host program/would you recommend it?? Any general interview day comments? Did you attend the "Dutch Dinner"? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Recommend the hosting thing-they're a great resource for asking questions, showing you around, and transportation. Interview day is surprisingly relaxed.

Do a lot of people go to this Dutch Dinner?
 
The Dutch dinner is super informal. There was a good mix of classes at mine, and I think students outnumbered applicants. I went with my host (which I'd also recommend doing, met a lot of students that way) so maybe that made it less awkward, but I'd recommend it if you need something to do or want to talk to more students!

At the end of the interview they said they really liked updates. I added the classes I would be taking next semester so they would know I was planning to take a statistics class and physiology class. If you have not satisfied the required courses yet I would definitely put an update in about the classes you are going to take if you know already.

Congrats on finishing your interview!

Exactly how I felt when I interviewed there on 9/24. People were so nice, and I loved the campus. Omaha is not in the middle of nowhere. Seems like there are lot of things to do and students are very happy about where they ended up. I met a few students from CA (where I'm from) and they all said they adjusted well to Omaha. I used the hosting program and my host was so friendly, helpful, and shared a lot her experiences with me.

I hope we all hear back from Creighton soon. Btw, did they tell you how long you have to wait before they send a decision?

I have no idea. I hope so! I know last year people called in to ask about their status and they could tell them over the phone, but I'm at work right now so I can't do that.
 
Just called in. The lady says give it another day or so.....so I guess tmrw is the day

My letters are still gone from the portal. Really hoping for some good news today! Good luck to everyone!!
 
My letter is still up, but the application home finally changed. It's now blank where before it said you have been invited to interview. Did anyone else get that? I should be hearing back this week or next.

That's what happened to me first, then my letters disappeared a few days later. No news yet, but supposedly we might be hearing today! (Interviewed 9/23)
