I just called right now and the woman said calls will only start going out earliest later today or Monday, so @voiceofthesoul still seems like a troll

I wish they would just send emails to everyone and get it over with...
so we're agreeing that phone call was a troll? almost got a heart attack..
Since no one else has reported a call, I would say it was a troll.
Yeah not sure what someone benefits from messing with people who are already stressed but pretty positive it was a troll

Same, I mean if anything happens today it will be after committee so likely between 5-7pm calls would start if they will go out at all today

I'm not gonna say out of respect for anonymity but I didn't know her from interview day. But I am also a gold donor on SDN so I don't think you should worry about me trolling lol.
Just got the call from Dr. Yee (Yi? I forgot) 15 minutes ago!! They're coming out!

Another doctor called me and clarified that email would come out Monday.
In the past phone calls have come out over a number of days. Just because you don't receive a call today does not mean you are not accepted.

I wonder if they're planning to continue calls over the weekend, then, and give out confirmation emails on Monday once they're all done.

Also irrational thinking, two people who interviewed in October got phone calls so they must have already called the September people aka I'm not getting one

I doubt they're doing it that way. I'm sure it's more random than that, or maybe by their internal ranking or something, but I sincerely doubt by interview date.
probably not, but i think these next couple hours and days will just be easier if I assume rejection. Anything else can be a surprise

I don't believe so. Last year there was a lot of effort put into trying to make sense of some kind of order of acceptances. The consensus was that there is no order. I think lists are sent out to those who make calls, these people obviously have different schedules so the times that they get around to making calls may vary.
ive been saying what if since september, dreaming of the day i move to durham. But ive decided if i keep doing that ill just be crushed when i dont get in
