Hello guys OOS here. LizzyM score of 65 received II on 8/29. Still waiting for a date. I've sent all the documents but they still haven't received them yet somehow. My case is also unique because I would have to take another chem lab prior to matriculating. UCF only had 1 general chem lab for some reason. Is there anything I should be concerned about? Or do I just keep waiting.

Keep waiting, took around a month for me, it says it can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks.

My undergrad, large private school, only offers 1 credit of gen Chem lab as well. I think it's pretty ridiculous that they wouldn't be accommodating.

Yeah but I wouldn't mind taking 1 more class if I got accepted haha.

Hey fellow IUSM hopefuls. I wanted to share my dates in hopes to give some reference and maybe some peace of mind. I received my receipt notification 7/21. II on 8/8. Interviewed on 9/14. Since the interview I haven't heard anything, and I have had no change to my portal. I didn't really expect a change yet either though. I'm IS, but not EDP. Non-trad and veteran. Not stellar stats by any means. Most of the people I interviewed with were EDP. Maybe I got my app in before the wave. Who knows? There is without a doubt a rhyme and reason to how IUSM goes about things, but I wouldn't suspect anyone on here really knows the whole story. Don't let speculation get the best of you. Hi all, I am just wondering, what is the secondary essay question? I submitted my primary back at the beginning of July and received an email from the office saying that they had received my application. I am wondering, though, if anyone has received a formal secondary essay email or access to an online portal?

They don't have a secondary. You only get access to the portal if you are invited to an interview.

Hey everyone! My portal changed to Under Consideration today.
I interviewed 9/7. I'm IS and non EDP
 
Does anyone know how IUSM notifies applicants on their decision? Is it through email and/or snail mail? I applied EDP, so I'm curious if I'll know right on Oct 1st of their decision....or if I'll have to wait to receive the letter through postal.

I asked the same questions here and was told that it honestly depends. Some people find out through snail mail, others through email, and others through their status changing online. I'm EDP and have yet to receive anything either! (i have friends who did EDP that found out through snail mail earlier than Oct 1)

You really can't unfortunately. But you should get an email from them when they receive your application. I didn't hear anything from them again until I got an II

anyone have the problem where the portal has everything checked off but still says 'in process'? II date 9/14.
i sent the deans eval 2 weeks ago, and the green checkmark JUST appeared next to it this morning. any ideas on when i should become 'under consideration'?

The interviews were 2:1 with faculty. It lasted about 45 minutes. Throughout the day we had a short tour, lunch with some current students and a powerpoint information session.
I interviewed at 9:45am and we were all dismissed a little bit before 3 after the financial aid presentation. But I guess things may be different depending on which campus you interview at.

Mine changed to under consideration last Monday and I interviewed 9/7. I'd give it a bit more time 🙂

Were you at the Indianapolis Campus?
 
Rejected just now pre-interview. OOS LM 70-71 received 7/20. Oh well.
