Any current IU peeps know anything about the LEADS summer program? Got into it but doc i work with said to "enjoy my summer." Anyone think its super beneficial/worth it/an advantage as an incoming med student? Or anything about it? also a bit weary since it ends right before school starts

Did anyone get the Indy first look invite who attended another campus's first look program?

Think anybody with an October interview could get an A for the last wave of acceptances this march based from previous years? Or is it a WL or R most likely…

I also was emailed about that but everyone I've talked to (doc and current med student) has recommended taking the summer off from everything and enjoying it to the max so I decided against it. I can't imagine it would be that helpful to be worth basically a 9-5 job of pre-studying

From last year's cycle, it looks like this week will be our week for those who interviewed around 1/10 and after. Best of luck to all.

Hi everyone!

Are there events happening for accepted students? Also any current students that can answer questions? Thank you so much.

I just called the financial aid office. Apparently they do not give need based financial aid scholarships, only merit based scholarships, and these merit based scholarships have already all been given out. Also we can use this to predict the Cost of Attendance for our year, though the tuition would have increased by at least 1%

So frustrating that all merit-based scholarships have already been given out. Why bother sending out the scholarship application to Feb/Mar admits if that's the case? If they're planning on redistributing scholarships later on assuming that some people are going to commit somewhere else, I wish they'd be more transparent before inviting others to apply.
