Just a heads up everybody considering joining a GroupMe, if you join these groups that have publicly posted links you will get spammed by scammers. My groupme is now chock full of message request because I joined the general IUSM Class of 2030 chat.

I think they'll come out May 8th. Usually they come out the first or second week of May.

Does anyone know if submitting the campus placement form later gives you lower priority? (like someone accepted in December vs someone accepted in March)

Idk about that specifically, but I do know that if you received a scholarship you get placement priority so at least all scholarship people get placed before anybody else.

Class is always full that's why people are alternates. Multiple people get off every year. IU has one of the highest WL movements in the entire country. People will drop. Assuming your "wholistic" app is what they're looking for... you'll get in

Ahh sorry I'm still in shock and didn't read closely enough. Postmarked date is May 19th. I live very close to the Indy campus/admissions office.

Has anyone who just got off the waitlist received an email yet? I’m wondering when/where we need to pay our seat deposit. Also wondering what we need to do through the One.IU portal.

All I’ve done so far is accept the offer in the portal, send my transcripts, complete the technical standards form, and complete the academic/legal disclosure form. Am I missing anything important?

For me, I was on the AL. And I got both a physical letter and my portal updated the same day.

I have a close friend who came off the waitlist the Friday before orientation our year, so it isn't over until it's over. Chances are slim, but not impossible. Best of luck for those still waiting and hope you consider reapplying if you don't get in this year. No matter what happens this is just one part of your journey, and an unsuccessful application cycle doesn't mean that you have to give up on your dream.
