If it brings you any solace, it took me a month to get the secondary (after verification). Hang in there!

Well I got the secondary a few days after getting my scores in, but yes I do feel fortunate for that. Was referring to being impatient to find out about interviews.

Oh lol. Can't help you there. UCSF is definitely a moon shot (the most unrealistic of dreams) for me so I personally won't be holding my breath

Lol I'm doing that thing where you have a super crush on someone but want to be aloof like it doesn't matter anyway if you don't hear from them, but secretly refreshing my email hoping their name pops up.

Lies UCSF
It peaks above the clouds
Looking over Parnassus

Of its awe inspiring hospitals

I submitted to AMCAS 7/18/16

It's been more than a month and heard nothing from UCSF.

Did you get an answer to this at all? I just got an II for the JMP.
 
Did anyone get a "complete" email or just a confirmation of secondary submission? My portal still just says "your application is ready!"

I did get a secondary submitted email the same day I submitted my app. No complete email.
 
Do you guys know when available dates are? The only one I saw was in December and I don't know if there was an earlier date!

Okay. I gotcha. Because I know at UCI their PRIME interview dates are different than the regular MD dates because you have an extra in-person interview. Anyways, thanks for the response!

Yeah I was confused about that too. It's kind of nice in a way. One battle at a time instead of stressing about both simultaneously

Actually though. 3 interviews is a lot in a day on top of the Q&A sessions, the tours, the talks, etc.

I am assuming if i haven't received a secondary in 2 months it isn't going to happen.

Dont give up just yet. Someone here waited over 2 months I believe before they received their secondary. UCSF likes to keep us waiting because they know we will wait since we cant forget how awesome they are.

Also thanks for the info! That confirms that if you're a prime applicant, the first date they allow you to interview is Dec. 13th (with two dates in Jan and two in Feb). Though I know that you can always call and arrange for an earlier interview for anyone who is curious.
 
Is it even worth throwing in my primary app at this point? My primary is already complete and I've applied to other schools.

It is a bit late but I like to think that you miss every shot that you don't take. If you're interested in UCSF, I would apply.
 
Still waiting for a secondary. My AMCAS was verified on 7/12, Lizzy M = 71.2, OOS.
