First rejection 🙁 Just gotta wait on an II elsewhere, I guess! Complete on 7/20
 
I'm so sorry to hear that 🙁 were you emailed? I have a feeling a rejection is on its way to me pretty soon, I've been complete here for a really long time and heard nothing.

Yeah, I received a cordial, but pretty generic, rejection email.
 
I was marked as complete on 8/3/2016.

Just received the "Application Held for Later Review" message.

Any possibility of receiving an II from a hold, or should I consider this as a rejection?

For those who succeeded in moving off the hold list, were there any strategies that proved helpful?

So those that interviewed in September can expect a decision on the October 16 decision date, right??

Well Yes sang that an owner of a lonely heart is much better than an owner of a broken heart. Personally, going to have to agree with them here. I ain't out yet! And neither are you (hopefully).

Rejected yesterday, bummed because I really wanted to try Chicago deep dish pizza 🙁 LizzyM 77
 
I interviewed yesterday and they told us we can expect decision on the December release date. Was really hoping we could hear back in october :/

They told us there were 3 dates when decisions would be released. Didn't tell us the first date, second date was 12/16 and third date was some time in march if I recall correctly. Pretty nice to have a definitive timeline (though you can still be "continued" or waitlisted).

First date is October 17th. But yeah, I think many people at that date will be continued. I don't think they release a waitlist until after the 3rd date?

IMO, no news is good news. I do wish there were a more predictable timeline based on when we submitted, so I know when to expect that rejection email XD

I think it means that our applications will be re-reviewed closer to the end of the interview season. From what I understand some people are actually taken off hold, but it is a small percentage. It's not bad because we are still in the running but it isn't the best either.

I know I'm more impatient than I was 7 weeks ago ugh. Had a dream that Leila called me last night (for like the 5th time) and we were having the longest conversation and I woke up right before she told me that I got in
