So I picked my interview date (11/18/2016)...when should I expect to hear back with details about the interview day?

Hiiiiiiiii longtime lurker eventual poster.

I got a II. I was sitting on the couch eating my pity cake with my pet crab, accepting that this is not my Michigan Monday... and I got the email around 7:30pm.
I made a really loud and weird squeal and couldn't stop running for 10 mins.

Anywhoo, IS, complete late-ish August.

Edit: complete late July, submitted late august

This is a rollercoaster of a narrative

After you schedule your interview you will need to complete a Michigan Interview Confirmation form. The questions are as follows:
  1. Please briefly describe your experience as part of a team and how you contributed to the success of that team and its goals. Do not exceed 1500 characters (about 250 words)
  2. If applicable, please add any new information or activities since completing your AMCAS application.
  3. If you have any gaps in activites or time on your AMCAS application or if you would like to explain any grades or scores, please do so here.
  4. If any of your core competencies were fulfilled outside of the conventional classroom/coursework, please explain
  5. Fun Fact - We would like to know one fun fact about you. This will be shared with other interviewees and those involved with your interviews. Please answer the following question with up to four words: Most people don't know that I can ________.
  6. Applying as a Couple - Are you applying as a part of a "couple" who plan on attending medical school at the same place? If Yes, please list name of the other applicant. If No, leave blank.
  7. What city and state do you consider your "Hometown"?
  8. If people often mispronounce your name, please provide the phonetic spelling of your full name.
  9. If you have dietary restrictions, please explain
  10. Whom should we contact in case of an emergency during your stay in Ann Arbor for interview day? Name, Phone Number, Relationship
You will also need to upload a photo and a HIPAA certification.

Does anyone know if they send out acceptances/rejections in the mornings/afternoons/evenings? Is there a pattern? Only asking because I'm expecting to hear back next thursday and I have a crazy work schedule that day...my heart is already racing in anticipation of hearing back from michigan and I still have 7 days left. would love if I had some idea of when I should expect to get the long-awaited email of my dreams.

In previous years acceptances have been sent out shortly after midnight

1+ . I had to check to see what day of the week it was.

On a separate note I am unlikely to receive a II from here.
why do you say that? your signature says you have a lizzy m of 70-75, but your previous graphs suggest anyone with a lizzy m of 72+ has a decent shot.

Loosing hope. 200 ish students with similar LizzyMs in mich , they only interview a portion of them. I might be in the excluded group. I know intellectually that I should get lucky, but it's difficult to reconcile that with waiting.

true. but we also know that they are sending out iis to ISers later in the cycle than normal - so there is hope

Submitted my MIC 3 weeks prior because I had my dates mixed up. It's past the 4 week deadline, has this happened to anyone? Will they still accept it?

The admissions office is extremely nice. Email them and apologize for your lateness, but maybe avoid saying you got dates mixed up. Best to just leave it at an apology.

And follow it up with an "I am excited to visit Ann Arbor and I look forward to getting to know more about the university of Michigan medical school" etc etc. And I'm sure you'll get a nice reply back. Just do it sooner rather than later.

Good luck!
