I'm honestly over it. Every other school is able to communicate, I'm fine with whatever the outcome is for me at this point

One of my doctors used to be an Adcom there for decades and he said on his own that they were the worst Admissions Office in the country ! Sad that a great school like this can't have a more efficient one.

Compared to other interview days I had, UNC's was the least professional and least impressive. The difference being that all of our minds were already made up that we wanted to go there long before we walked through the door

Yes unfortunately I had the same experience, even setting up the interview was delayed. Sad because I too really wanted to go here :/ still waiting...

Are we sure it's the first week of April? online, it says "All final decision notifications, including acceptance, wait list, and unsuccessful application, will be sent to applicants by early April." Technically that could pass into next week, too...

The year I was accepted, I was notified of my waitlist status via email the first Friday in April at 5:05 pm. I hope you all get your answer soon as I know how incredibly difficult this can be.

You still have time. Usually, people give out bad/neutral news on Friday @ 5pm so the receiving party has to think at least for the weekend before asking questions. Reduces the emotional outburst.

Oh my. Do you mind if I ask what year that was? In the past few years, most people were notified the first week of April! I'm so surprised it took until the end of the month for you. Guess we need to hang a little tighter.
