How long after the portal updated for the Telephone Interview Offer did anyone receive email confirmation?

Mine didn't go as well as I had hoped eithe, but we'll see.
 
Yea I also had the phone interview not too long ago and only used up like 15 mins of the allotted time (including the interviewer's intro). Did I screw something up? Because for some of his questions, there really isnt that much to talk about. Other times I really felt as if I was put "on the spot," only to think to myself after the interview "oh shoot, why did I go in that direction, or why didnt I say xyz instead. Kinda worried 🙁

is this question only for WM specific reapplicants? i applied to med school last cycle but not to WM

My experience review started the same day. Nothing has changed since, unfortunately :eyebrow:

My telephone interview was on 09/05 (Labor day).
 
Does everyone get the "In consideration for campus interview" after the completion of their telephone interview?

I think thats the standard email they send after completing the interview. They say they will be in touch within a few days after the phone interview so that email counts as them being in touch.
 
I received "application complete" but never got moved for an experience review - so I don't think everyone gets them
 
As a nontrad, if my plans change for this year, can I update those changes on file? Experience review was completed in early sept, but no phone interview invite or decision yet so I wanted to increase my chances since I didn't add anything for what I'm doing this gap year.

I am unsure if the accept updates pre II. Might be good to call and ask or email and ask ?

My experiences review is still not complete after 3 weeks so I can only assume they are reviewing the hell out of them.
Can't wait until it's complete so I can move on to the next stage of neuroticism :banana:

On your status portal, if they began your experiences review it should appear below Application Complete, etc. Hope that helps!
 
I know im late the party as an OOS but for this question, Describe why you wish to enroll at WMed. You should describe any connection you have to southwest Michigan. (2000 character limit) is it okay to refer to western michigan as WMed??

Straight from the secondary email: "The preferred abbreviation of Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is 'WMed'." So yes, go with WMed if needed!

Yes, updates are accepted via email in PDF format.

I didn't get a formal rejection but pretty sure I'm on hold cause I had my phone interview on 8/5 and have not heard anything. A bit disappointing since Wmed was my first choice

We had people accepted from every single interview day (I think that might be true for every class so far but don't quote me on that).

Was your phone interview much earlier in the cycle?
 
It's been over a month since my experiences review was completed and I've gotten nothing but silence since. Is it safe to assume I'm on hold?

Seriously though, at this point anything from any school is better than silence. My application was rejected from another school yesterday and I wasn't sad or mad about it at all, I was honestly just exhilarated to see that someone actually looked at it.
 
Complete my telephone interview on 8/17 and haven't heard back yet. I guess I'm getting passed over for these campus II's.
 
Can anyone who has interviewed already (or in the past) share your experience?? That would be greatly appreciated!

My phone interview was 8/17 also and I JUST received my campus II today. So don't lose hope just yet! I think some of the timing depends on who did your phone interview.

Also, my phone interview only lasted 13 minutes total. So don't count yourself out just because your interview was short.

Phone II sept 1, complete the 3rd i think

Also only 3 days Oct 28, Nov 4 and Nov 18.

Just got a rejection email! Ah well, can't say I'm surprised considering my experience review finished at the end of July and took all of 1 day! Good luck to everyone with the rest of the application cycle!

My experience review ended 8/22, began on 7/22. Silence since then, would this be considered a hold?

Experience review complete since 8/10. Nothing ever since!! #scared
