On campus interview invite!

Had my telephone interview 9/29, got the complete email 10/3, and II earlier this morning. Very thankful and shocked for the quick turnaround! OOS, re applicant!
 
I have been complete since like 7/25 without a phone II or rejection.. no news good news? lol keeping my hopes up
 
Experiences review complete. Hoping for a phone interview!

In this case I think its good news because others have already been rejected!

I got invited to today. How are you preparing? Any idea what the chances of getting in are after getting a phone interview invite?
 
Phone II! 🙂 Complete early September. Lots of open dates and times. +2 on any advice for the phone interview? Is it MMI style or is it more of a traditional interview?

What were your stats like if you're comfortable with it?
 
Am I correct in assuming that the interviews have an mmi component and a traditional component?

I think you may be overestimating. Last year there seemed to be much less waitlist movement than I expected (as an M3 observing the process, being on SDN, talking to applicants, the way the staff talked about that issue). I would guess we accept around 1.5-2x our class size. I'm certainly very confident it's less than 3x.
 
Just got a telephone interview earlier today. I was complete 9/22. Does this mean my chances are good?

Phone interview offered today, too! One month after the experience review completed.

Supplemental app. completed 8/11
Experience review started 8/16
Experience review completed 9/7
Phone interview offered 10/6

I think common experience has been 1 week.

Think about it this way. If the committee meets before extending invites, then they will only release interview invitations after they meet. If they only meet once or twice a month, then at any point you could be waiting a couple weeks before they actually review your phone interview.

II can be extended all the way till Spring. Knowing the timeline of other people's applications is entirely useless unless you have the exact same application as them.
 
Holy **** just finished my phone interview. It took a total of 15 minutes. I feel like I did average

Just completed the phone interview. It took me a total of 16 minutes to complete. I'd say it went alright. But strangely, I was never asked to complete the Experiences Review. Is that something to be concerned about?

They complete the experience review themselves. They don't ask you for anything during that process.
 
I'm heading in a day early for my interview. Does anyone have recommendations for things to do in the area? I will have a rental car

I'm so nervous for Monday, ugh why did 10/15 have to be during the weekend???
 
I am nervous about my phone interview tomorrow. Anyone got any advice?

yeah same did you feel like they put you on the spot with some tough life questions lol? like how am I supposed to come up with an answer to such an in depth question right off the top of my head
 
Just out of curiosity how important do you think the phone interview is in the grand scheme of things?

yeah man same. thanks for giving me hope. Do you think they weigh the phone interview that much then? A lot of the stuff asked was already on my app
